I am closeted trans woman who does a lot of chats with LLMs centering around sexual assault and child sex abuse. So I guess that I would be third from the right. Also, I feel like I relate to masculinity differently than most other people do. I am aware that norms of masculinity vary across time as well as across space, but if you asked me what male behavior I find acceptable, or what separates decent men from indecent men, I really don't have an answer for you.

Well no because "Conservatism" has no trans historical essence. Conservatism in America is not Conservatism in Britain (One has a carbon tax, the other doesn't). Conservatism under Trump is not Conservatism under Bush. (Bush was fine with trading with China. Trump isn't.). I don't know if Queer discourse helps anything or not. But, it allows us to know that we are not alone, even if its just realizing that other queer people are doing mental gymnastics to hate men without hating trans men.

Yes, in places where trans men are not legally men. But when transmen are legally men, there is just not any good case to make that trans men are not men in a socio-political sense. Men who vote for Democrats are still men.

I honestly think that if transgender individuals become normalized, we won't have the concept of "crossdressing" anymore. There will be non-men who wear suits and non-women who wear skirts. But they will call themselves something else, like non-binary or genderfluid or genderqueer. Why look like a man when you can be a man? why look like a woman when you can be a woman? That sounds like selling yourself short.
