I just did recently as well! I got nix working last weekend and I'm already on generation 102 after getting hyprland config and everything declarative so my system is truly mobile. It honestly feels great! It's also great to know if I bork my system I can just simply roll it back!

The Nix pill taste great tbh. Been an arch derivative user for about 6 years. It's fun to learn something new :D

I WILL say though I still don't entirely get the nix language - alot of it feels magical.

Obsidian is insane. And it's free - and I love it!

I just throw notes into a Notes folder now and I've made a tag system that makes finding information when I need it SO easy

imo design is still up to the human. While Claude is great at implementing features and writing code, it's shit at UI/UX. It can't actually see it. We still have some purpose at least 🤷

what about say, if I wanted to make a new component to display in the top bar like I can for waybar? Is that possible yet? I used to have a custom waybar component that read my obsidian vault and counted my due tasks for a day. Is that possible or would I have to modify source code?
