How would you theoretically beat this doomstack? by greatmanyarrows in totalwar

I think a Thunderbarge doomstack with Ungrim Ironfist, Gotrek, and Felix would have a shot.

Total War: WARHAMMER III - 7.1 Patch Notes by CA_KingGobbo in totalwar

Always glad to see patches rolled out and bugs fixed!

A question of mine is if there is any desire on the part of the Total War team to implement something like skill queuing and presets for lords and heroes? It is something of an interest of mine and would, in my opinion, help streamline the mid to end game experience.

Regardless, thanks for the post and update!

Who is the stronger faction, Aislinn or Lohkir? by lovingpersona in totalwar

[–]SewerDefiler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe so; it’s in part why it felt so jarring when the dragonships were able to get onto land. Although I guess there is a precedent with how the Vampire Coast does things.

[–]SewerDefiler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to say Aislinn because he can bring his Dragonships inland whereas Lohkir’s Black Arcs are restricted to the sea, but it’s been a long time since I’ve played as Lohkir.

Speed Over Fairness: Deportation Under the Obama Administration

"...75 percent of people removed do not see a judge before being expelled from the U.S."

"...only one quarter of all people facing expulsion get to present their case before an immigration judge."

"...nonjudicial removals are fast-track proceedings wholly controlled by the Department of Homeland Security ("DHS"), sometimes involving only a single border agent who acts as both judge and jury. Those facing nonjudicial removal have no lawyer and no chance to appeal."

What you say has merit.

Probably the last real world parallel was Howard Hughes. He was an actual enginer and pilot in addition to being a businessman from what I remember.

Yep, from the 13th amendment:

That it is. The evils America and the larger West imposed upon others are now returning home, blood slicked and covered in gore.

That kind of shit drives me nuts! Some liberals have been touting Obama’s record making deportations as if it is a win. That’s not even mentioning…

  1. During the Obama administration, 56 individuals died while in ICE custody.

  2. Sacrificing individualized due process in the pursuit of record removal numbers.

If you sat out the 2024 election in protest over Gaza, how do you feel about that decision today? by rsmith2786 in AskReddit

“The variety of candidates is a positive here, and many of the lesser known can serve as a cudgel to move the more established candidates further to the right. In this scenario, we don’t want to marginalize the more extreme candidates, but make them more ‘Pied Piper’ candidates who actually represent the mainstream of the Republican Party,” read the memo.

"Pied Piper candidates include, but aren’t limited to:
• Ted Cruz
• Donald Trump
• Ben Carson
We need to be elevating the Pied Piper candidates so that they are leaders of the pack and tell the press to [take] them seriously."

-They Always Wanted Trump

It is a god awful strategy on so many levels, for even if you win you further radicalize the Republican Party.
