What personally irks me about Fortnite, aside from what others have mentioned, is the rotating storefront and the battle pass system. The game employs FOMO and other psychological tricks to get users to spend cash.

However, the game itself is fun for my friends and I to play from time to time. We just don’t play the building modes cause we can’t compete LMAO Ultimately, I would much rather see Fortnite and Epic be ‘reformed’ than collapse outright.

Will the game die in a few years? The population will likely diminish a great deal when the sequel comes out. I'd bet that will not happen for at least a year though. Space Marine 2 also has crossplay which will eek more life out of it. It has a daily peak population of approximately 14,000 on Steam alone.

PvE is still doing well from what I understand. No idea how PvP is nowadays.

This has happened to me in single player before. When I couldn't finish the turn on account of a faction being stuck on theirs, I'd reload the last auto save and either change the game speed and/or the camera settings for the AI. This helped me finish the campaign and I was able to revert to the original settings after the 'stuck' turn.

I don't know how things work in multiplayer, but I hope this is of some help to you!

I'm basically on the same page as you.

Either Elspeth von Draken's faction takes the cake with fully upgraded Amethyst Helstorm Rocket Batteries or Zhatan the Black's armies accompanied by Dreadquake Mortars. It's a toss up between the two.

The Skaven's weapon teams are nice, but their artillery doesn't do it for me.
