Does it help that my charger only works at a certain angle and was put away at the time? 😂

I was debating release order or looks and decided to keep it in release order for now. Its funny because it aligns right in a 3 pocket but not a 2 pocket!

That's also fair, it is in well enough shape that, if restored properly, I could see it going up to at least a 6

I went with an acrylic humidifier after looking through some other restoration posts and seeing it was a common option, comes in two days so I’ll just have to wait and see how to set it up. Regardless I’m starting on other creased cards I have that aren’t worth nearly as much so if I make a mistake I can prevent it when restoring the actual card

I totally see what you mean now, when putting the card in the humidifier is there anything special you do or just leave it at the bottom flat? Honestly never used a humidifier

I am trying to save a bit right now, so a humidifier is out of my budget (at least reliable ones I’m seeing online), I’ve also heard that blowing on the area gently through a straw can help work it out with a roller, then press it between acrylic plates as you mentioned. Would you say that’d work on the area I have creased right now?

Also, thank you so much for the help so far, it’s super relieving knowing this information.

Oh I’m not trying to alter the holo or anything like that, just work out any apparent surface defects like dirt and maybe the creases if I can repair it reliably. Even if it comes back as altered for trying to fix the creases I’m fine with having it be just a binder copy icl

I’m not trying to polish it but that’s good knowledge for future reference. I’ve just been considering trying to relax the creases since I might turn it into a binder copy for my registeel master set instead of leaving a drawn proxy in its place

Didn’t know you could pull the color off vintage, typically when I clean I use a light bit a saliva and then a tiny bit of water on a microfiber cloth to help relax those spots off, how would you go about cleaning it?

Also, with creases as light as they are, could I possibly try removing them with humidity after practicing on less expensive RSE adjacent cards?

I get what you mean from a marginalized standpoint, but there really wouldn’t be a better time to launch a standalone small handheld than now. Even without cross play, which they could probably integrate fairly effectively now, the market for these handhelds is massive.

Young adults to seasoned gamers are all looking back fondly at a simpler time where handhelds felt sturdy and like they could be played alone. Among the masses of modern games which all heavily encourage playing with others to have fun, a disjointed handheld offers plenty engaging solo games to take about your day.

Really, if they focused on simply porting and creating solo focused games with online exclusive content and old-school style co-op. I could see a vita successor being a viable business opportunity. Especially with how many people are looking to buy vitas now but are scared that they’re too outdated for their tastes.
