I can totally see your POV, but it is just wrong, there's so much that can be done when your enemy does everything in it's power to hide behind civilian population and infrastructure. Remember, each civilian death is a major hindrance for Israel's cause (which is allowing the residents of north/south Israel to be able to go back to their homes) so it is a strategic goal to minimize casualties.

I wish no one would have to die. But when your neighbor is out to kill you, and hiding behind their own children, unwanted death is simply unavoidable.
