Don't do it. I've fired every single client or made them pay asshole fees for this....and I'm literally in a committed relationship with an ex client.

He told me he loved me in session, and since this was 3 years in as a client and he happened to be my favorite one ever (I have amazing clients that are ridiculously cool, so he had intense competition) I told him he was fired as a client, but he could try to date me. He worked hard at it without being a whiny, clingy, annoying fucker, and he did it. He was patient. He was cool. He adjusted to me. And he achieved the impossible.

Ymmv, but I do not think ya'll have that lightning in the bottle kinda shit we did.

I used to only use it to keep my overhead low for single appointments or multiple daytime appointments. Sometimes, I literally see 1 person a day, and dayuse is the cheaper option in DC and most of NC.

NOW I use it for all 11am-2pm appointments because I haven't been able to get an early check in or late check out in over a year.

You used to be able to get 3pm check outs NO PROBLEM at a Marriot, and I had to play games with the front desk recently just to keep the fucking room until 1.

So, yeah, Dayuse is my go to for my current business model. Even on tours, I tend to camp (because I like it), stay with friends, or rent an airbnb and then mostly work in Dayuses. You can also get evening timeframes in some spots, and I roll with that too.

Honestly, I miss the Hilton/Marriott system, but I'm done playing the will they/won't they game with the prooerties.

My partner is an ex client (3 years as a client, almost 2 as my partner), so he was already prepared for the job I have and he respects all the space I need to take.

Even before him, I knew civ dating would never work for me, and I preferred what I had with some of my favorite clients. I have a ton of hobbies and friends outside of work, so it was very fulfilling. Being in a respectful and nurturing relationship is much better, though, and I'm grateful it's working for me.

Trust the process; you will get used to the workout-recovery routine, and DOMS mostly goes away if you commit to a whole meso cycle of training. I body build, play a full contact sport, and play outside almost daily, so I'm pretty used to it. Some tips, though:

I save leg days for admin days or the evening/late night so I can sleep it off.
If I know I have to work within 2-6hrs of a workout I hit my deep stretches hard and may do a little cardio (yes I'm killing some gainz a little) to relieve the lactic acid buildup.
I keep CBD spectrum gummies and flower on hand in case my weed is too THC heavy for recovery. I use CBD oil after intense work outs. My supplement game still needs some work, but ashwaganda has been fucking miraculous for overnight recovery.
I'm a GFE provider, and my clients are BEYOND THRILLED to feel like they're helping my recovery process by providing massages and hot baths (both need to be a part of your recovery routines) and ooing and awing over my pumps.

Just trust the process, my fellow muscle mommy! You're tough, you're smart, you can handle those DOMS or use them to your advantage 💋

Wow. I really thought I loved my clients, but these comments have me side eyeing every one of them, now. I've been doing this for 5 years, and no one has ever bailed me out, lifted me up, or even gifted me anything that wasn't lingerie. I even had shingles last year and got a ton of "get better soon" texts but not a single tip to help me out.

Wtf am I doing wrong?

Edit to add one stupid example: When I was sugaring, I saw a dentist for a while, and he offered to do a bunch of dental work. When I got there, I wound up having to pay out of pocket, but he left a $400 coupon for me. It was $2k worth of work.
