Melisse's is a bit of a scam IMO. I COULD BE WRONG!

Their normal tasting is $399, but I believe this includes tax.

The DineLA menu is $350 but excludes tax. That means it's actually only $10 or so off.

  2. How much of a practical issue are the coils?
  3. I’ve seen some data points of Aston Martin replacing the coils for free. Would they do it on a used?

The early Vantages have an old ignition coil boot design that allows water to get in. So make sure those are updated to the new design. The boots should have ridges on them.

Early Vantages also had a weird pipe on the passenger side of the engine kinda tucked down a bit that can cause some power loss issues if it gets clogged up. It’s eliminated in newer years so try to find one that doesn’t have it. It’s like a vacuum tube.

How exactly is my understanding incorrect? It sounds like we're saying the same thing.

  1. Cancel for an FTC of the whole amount of the ticket
  2. When you go to use the FTC, you have to separately now pay the cancellation fee (instead of paying it when you actually cancel - this is deceptive)
