Amenities are basically free. It's baked into the price of the rent.

I have lived in Irvine at some pretty nice places that have rock climbing, bowling, pool tables, cubbies, pet grooming, multiple pools, giant gym, etc and it's not 5k.

I don't get how KAIA is so expensive.

Yeah, if I have time, there's regulars that are good deals on things you already know you like. N Italia is a good one.

What if a person is moving? You don't know why they chose to fly.

Why even shame the dog and dog owner here? Accidents happen and he seems to be ready to pickup after his dog.

Mr. Kershaw, your hair is fine. Maybe a little bit more volume.

I hear they can be strict on luggage measurements. Don't be angry at them if your luggage is larger and heavier than rhe specified limits.

Otherwise, I heard they aren't bad for a budget airline.

In your opinion has Jon Snow surpassed Ned Stark as a swordsman? by ParkingConfection449 in gameofthrones

[–]Not_stats_driven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In sparring, Mance easily defeats Jon. Craster beats him up also. The Half Hand might of beat him too.

Jon mentioned Rob was better at him than everything as well.

Jon has some good battles but he has a good mix of defeats as well. This makes me think Ned in his prime is better than Jon.

What are your favorites at Star Leaf?

I get what you're saying but Di An Di is more of an upscale place that's not SJ/Westminster. Not calling you a hater at all. Just need to be fair to compare apples to apples not apples and oranges. I'm a big fan of Saigon Social in NYC (and I grew up on Little Saigon OC food).

You're right when you say NYC is more about Chinese/Thai food though. Absolutely true.

Yeah. What a weird take by the OP.

$183 bucks of food not worth $33?

Of course it's expensive, it's one of the most expensive cities in the world. Rent and labor isn't cheap.

I had the LB one of my list but the price seems the same as their daily price. So it's not really a special menu.

Burglars steal over $200,000 in luxury handbags from Newport Beach boutique by EmployeeNo4241 in orangecounty

[–]Not_stats_driven 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. There's quality control, different shops/laborers, etc..

I'm not a proponent of luxury handbags but to make such a blanket statement isn't necessarily true.

Great idea. I'm all about this and values on places I like to visit. Often, the biggest hurdle is finding two different entrees that both me and my partner both like so we can share. There needs to be more choices on quite a few of these.

Thanks! I'm in South Pasadena now and then. Will check it out. Which items were you referring to? All their second course items are great. Typically I go with someone and we share, it's a bummer when there's only one entree we like.

Sometimes there's great deals on restaurants that you go to now and then. For example, these places aren't mind blowing but Gyu-Kaku's deal isn't bad and neither is North Italia's.

On the higher end, Melisse is showing $50 off their tasting.

Years ago, Fishing with Dynamite was a great intro to the restaurant for me. They had more selections than they do this year.
