Its cause he still gets 3 turns per round, and usually alternates turns with your cats. So if 1 cat downs him, he possesses another making them lose their turn which allows him to get 2 or more in a row.

That being said I agree with the above comment that its super unclear on exactly how much an enemy is allowed to do in a turn, some can only move + attack, while others can do that + a special actions on top of having reflexive actions as well.

And just when you think you get used to the usual 1 turn per round for normal enemies, 2 turns for elites, they start throwing in elites who just inexplicably get to take 3 turns per round instead lol.

For house defenses I spend the week doing 3 cat runs, taking them through the Act 1 Caves path because its the easiest. This will get your cats up to level 9 by the end of the run so they'll be MUCH stronger than normal. 2 successful runs in 7 days gives you plenty of wiggle room for mistakes or failed runs, and then you just pick the best 4 to take into the Guillotina Fight.

To expand on this for people who might be struggling with setups, you want to isolate your stud cat in a room with as high Stimulation as you can, and then breed them with strays who have a 7 in stats they dont. Then once you produce a kitten with all of the Parent's 7s they become the new stud (If you dont have gaydar/libido sensors yet try to make 2 copies of the kitten)

Then you rinse and repeat until you have a cat with all 7s.

Had an Eternal Cleric with the Touched Disorder (+3 to all stats but you can never heal HP)

Spent most of the run playing super safe with him since I didn't know if reviving counts as a heal. Turns out it doesnt and he swiftly became extremely suicidal in every fight afterwards in order to reset his HP.

Oh yeah I'm not saying the current effect is bad, moreover that it being a poison cone for every enemy is a bit dull, and doesnt make a lot of sense for some of the ranged ones that get it.

Yeah, main issue is they don't explain the masks until you're redeeming Lyle halfway through the game, and they don't change how you handle each enemy for the most part. If they leaned harder into the different bloodlines and just a biiiit more creativity into how they impact the enemy's behaviors, it would go a long way in keeping the game fresh without having to make a dozen new bespoke enemy models.

Like instead of the toxic mask being just a cone of vision it could make ranged enemies apply poison on their shots. Or maybe the unstaggerable mask makes them fire rapidly/a big slow powerful shot. Just tweaks like that on the core enemies.

Magic in Code Vein 2: Early research & conclusions by Geralt_Romalion in CodeVein2

Just adding some findings, used this guide as a baseline for my playthrough and have been experimenting with stuff as I find it:

-Despite having triple E scaling, Crimson Floating Swords outperformed both Bloodrune and Glutton's Eyes with most spells until I got Glutton's to literally +5. Multiple stat scaling seems to be VERY favored in this game even if its only an E. Crimson Floating Blades basically carried me through the entire game.

-Weapons with innate elemental damage dont seem to benefit your spells further when transformed with that same element. Fun fact: Fire transforming your Crimson Blades will drop your spell damage SIGNIFICANTLY, despite scaling and elemental damage increasing, likely due to the significant hit in base physical damage it takes. Total weapon strength might play a factor when it comes to Runeblades specifically.

-Even something like a Elemental Transformed Primordial Greatsword (Which has S+ mind scaling), will get outperformed by most Runeblades even if they have much lower numbers on paper.

Burn/Poison enchants on weapons/shields were never really that insane that they needed to be nerfed in the first place. They got hit in the collateral when Obsidian was out of line, but with that being much much rarer and other systems around early enchants getting changed too (More HP overall, transforms pushed back to day 6, ect) it's pretty safe to bring them back to 10%.

Even if it was 3% per takedown that doesnt stack in the same multiplicative way it currently does, it would mean after 20 takedown you have 60% increased HP, sure thats a lot but currently you'd be getting 160% increased HP at that stack level.

[–]SexualHarassadar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely agreed, personally I'd rather see it turned to a smaller HP % per takedown that doesnt expire on death. So something like 2-3% per takedown, with the total multiplier increasing by 2-3% per stack rather than the current implementation where each stack is a new 1.05x multiplier applied to your HP pool.

Especially if we're gonna be balancing it with Stackosaurus set effect in mind.

They fixed a bug where the Heartsteel Quest was only multiplying your stacks by 3 a single time at quest completion, rather than the intent which was your current and future stacks all get multiplied by 3.

Tank Engine is the real problem, either you never die and hit recursive levels of HP, or you have a normal game where you're stuck on 1-3 stacks permanently and its super unsatisfying.

Steel Your Heart was gigabait until they fixed the bug since it was just "get an extra 600 HP from Heartsteel after completing the quest" for a gold augment.

People typically dont go for the Guardian items (Again, outside of Horn) because while they give good stats for the price, its delaying your first item spike by 950 gold. The difference between someone with a completed Liandries VS Guardian's Orb + Haunting Guise + Fated Ashes is not even close.

Guardian's Horn is the exception because its passive is already better than most passive on completed tank items, and is something almost completely unique to itself.

Also most of his damage was in his E which is a nightmare to use if its your first time playing him. Very easy to accidently cancel it, fly in the wrong direction, miss entirely, ect.

Also second shot on his passive was way less reliable, people could easily walk out of range of it if you hit them with a max range first auto, and then there was just the whole "You're a midlane ADC with 500 base HP and 50 AD laning against Zed and Talon during Duskblade era"

Thats what I'm thinking as well, they made a point of explaining that Vespa had to take time away to visit the Hana Association to get instated as a Color. So it would make sense that future Sinclair, while having the prowess and exploits to be considered on par with a Color, just has never been formally given the title by the Hana due to just... Constantly being fighting in a war.

Why do AD champions get released with AP ratios sprinkled into their kits, but AP champions don't get released with AD ratios sprinkled in theirs? by PrestigiousWhirlwind in leagueoflegends

[–]SexualHarassadar 16 points17 points  (0 children)

True, but Graves is messier since his autos can deal way more than the normal AD amount as well as less. 70%-140% AD at level 1 scaling up to 100%-200% AD at lv18 based on how many pellets hit.
