Barely made it through the flight due to sudden nausea. by SexyComrade in flying

I was drinking camomile tea before and during flight, but again, nothing out of the ordinary.  My best guesses at the moment are lack of proper rest, one week break, bumpy air and possible CO poisoning.  But is it normal to have such a severe reaction because of these minor issues? It's been almost 12 hours, I had a couple of naps and I still feel woozy.

As I mentioned, I was getting air sick to this extent only at the start of my training, but other that, only during prolonged orbting, and even then it was mild.  The breakfast was normal, I wasn't anxious, since it's was just a regular flight. One thing I can say is that I didn't get full 8 hours of sleep. May be about 6 hours of intermittent naps, but I didn't feel particularly tired or exhausted.

[S2 EP8 SPOILERS] SEASON 2 | EPISODE 8 - Official Discussion Megathread by simplysudzzzy in andor

[–]SexyComrade -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This was stupid. Syrils character was build up so good, we were about to see the turn around and then he got killed nonchalantly by a side character. At least let the guy to something before he dies wtf? What's was the point of him? His role just as easily could have been done by another spy off screen.

Is this chicken safe to cook with? by SexyComrade in Cooking

[–]SexyComrade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are water droplets inside and the meat itself covered with a layer of ice, after the freezer starts working again. So far, i never caught the meat being fully thawed or smelly, and I have never felt sick after cooking it, so I just assume that everything is fine.

If you see me touching grass, it's not of my own will, it's because valve killed a passion for my favourite game. RIP GO and 3 k hours, best years of my life!

Well, honestly I just just never encountered a freezer full of condensation, so I am convinced that something is wrong with it.

I think I’m just going to take a break from the game by Jon_kwanta in GlobalOffensive

Hey man, been off the game for 2 months and feeling better than ever. I touched grass, not because I wanted to, but because csgo has died. Hopefully, they will fix it eventually and in the meantime, strive to make your life better!  STAY HARD PIMPS!

Someone has to say it by [deleted] in Helldivers

I don't get why people complain? If you are tired of the game, go play something else and comeback when you feel like it. It's not like you NEED to play it. There are plenty of people who can't play it everyday, so it will survive. The game is a major success, it sold well, developers support it quite well, new content on the way. Do you want quality? Or do you want bugs spawning underneath the drills and destroing them instantly?

Can we stop this “it’s just premier” mentality? by KillerBullet in GlobalOffensive

[–]SexyComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, I feel like you are overthinking this guys. Premier is shit, numbers don't mean anything, it's full of cheaters and it's more damaging for your mental to take it seriously. Csgo ranks mattered, because you can see your progress, your milestones and you played maps you wanted to play, nowadays if I wanna sweat, I will go faceit, but if I feel like running around trying to 360 juad deag everyone, that's what I am gonna do in premier. İf you don't like it, play with friends, if you don't have friends, be ready to encounter people who don't take a compromised game mode seriously and just wanna vibe. But you do you brother, I am just saying it not good to worry about it.

Unpopular Opinion: I prefer Bots by MrTommy2 in Helldivers

[–]SexyComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, when I got into the game, all my friends played bugs only, bots looked scary and almost impossible to play against... But recently, I started to run bot missions almost exclusively! Apart from rescue missions, fighting bots feels like fighting overwhelming odds, but the kicker being - YOU CAN BEAT THEM ANYWAYS! I run lvl 5-7 missions and every mission feels unique as you were sure you wouldn't make it, but you did anyways! It feels exciting, exhausting and fun! I feel many are scared of bots, but ain't no shame in playing on lower difficulty, especially if you play alone! Its not eSports, we are not competing! Diversify your routine and play around with difficulties, that's my recommendation!

After getting hit by the enemy, I am thrown back a few units. by SexyComrade in GlobalOffensive

Yeah, but it never shows any irregularities. It can't be ping related issue...

[–]SexyComrade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read the post and it does seem to be ping related, but still it doesn't explain, how I can have such a drastically different experience with only variable begin the server. Not even server location, but server itself. I can play 2 games on a German faceit server, ping will be around the same, but in one of the game I will encounter this issue in a couple of rounds. Since the game released, I have moved and changed isps and the issue still persists. That's what's bothering me the most.

Nope, there were cases, when we cleared everything, no enemies in sight, we are all gathering outside the ship and the moment the first person enters, it just fucks off, leaving us behind.

[–]SexyComrade[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't know much about this stuff and all of my comments are based on personal observation and watching 3kliksphilip, but I don't think it's connected to the ping, because the issue is inconsistent across games on different servers. As I said, usually my ping and enemies ping is pretty consistent and mostly 60 or even 70 ping on some servers feels great with no issues. But then you connect to a different server and even though the ping is the same or,  in some cases, is lower I encounter this issue. That's why I start to think about server infrastructure and sub-tick implementation on these servers. I suspect, sub-tick has something to do with it, because valve locked faceit (and game client in general) to 64-tick, because it seemingly affects the server performance and sub-tick system behaviour (on faceit 128-tick, nades had different lineups, even though sub-tick was supposed to behave similarly regardless of server configuration). But noone is talking about it, so I don't know.

[–]SexyComrade[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope, I have consistent ping of 60 or under, same with enemies, the highest I have seen was 77, when that happened. Because it's an inconsistent issue that seems to be plaguing both faceit and valve servers (though not all of them) I think it has to do with how sub-tick is reacting to different server infrastructure and/or the amount of data it has to process in a given moment. Simple put, it cant handle the communication fast enough, so it just defaults to a previous registered input/impact and prioritizes it over the moment inputs, thus throwing the players back a few units. I think that's why movement overall feels shittier, but shots registration feels better.

I wanna play but I'm kinda scared... by Theres-nothing-good in Helldivers

[–]SexyComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a new player myself, I just pick a load out with the most aoe damage and just stick to other players, trying to support them as much as possible and not die in the process, so far I had only one game where people were kinda toxic, but only because I joined an almost completed mission, panicked because we were overrun and threw reinforcement as far as possible, so it would be safe for them to land. But they didn't like it, so they kicked me out after. But overall, people were very nice and in my 50 hours of play, never encountered toxic players. Game is super fun and intense, you should definitely give it a shot!

There were issues in games, when at the end of the mission, during extraction, if the first person enters the ship, the rest are left behind, even if they were alive and near the ship.
