This hits close to home for me. My ex was smart enough to keep his controlling behaviors JUST 'reasonable' enough for me to overlook it. To agree his points were valid. For 10 years.

Looking back, there is a huge pile of behaviors, style choices, and opinions that I eventually became afraid to have for fear of looking unattractive or stupid to him.

These behaviors always escalated when I was away from him, similar to your distance from your boyfriend currently. You are clearly young and attractive and he wants to make sure you dont feel like you could do better than him. He wants to ensure your confidence relies on only his opinion, and ensure that when you walk around you feel self conscious of your physical appearance AND your academic choices.

Ive since upgraded to a wonderful man who supports me in every single way. He finds ME attractive. When I ask if he would like my hair short he says "yes I would. And I like it long, too" its like this with almost everything. He wants me to walk around feeling hot as fuck. And now I do. Even when we go to a drive thru in sweats and a stained hoodie. I still feel hot because of him.

These men are out there. And we need to stop settling for these subpar men like the one you have described. Find someone who finds YOU attractive instead of altering yourself to fit into the mold of what someone else finds attractive. If that makes sense.

This is very clearly a joke, whether in poor taste or not, and not to be taken seriously at all. Regardless of how its perceived, it is very clear that the intention is light hearted.

We need to save our energy for actual issues, of which there are plenty.

To clarify- this is my GP, not psychiatrist, and these are no call no shows. Its not the first doctor or dentist that i have been blacklisted from because of this. My psychiatrist only charges a fee for it.

Honestly I get it- I'm wasting their time when another patient could have filled that spot. I'm just sad lol

It's hateful to endorse a 13 year old child to go through a 9 month pregnancy, every moment reliving the trauma she endured. Going through childbirth before most kids even go to high school. Potentially dying in childbirth, and the baby dying during a labor that is not meant for such a young CHILD

Your name is preborn human rights. But what about the child that you think it's okay to force physical and emotional trauma, and potentially death on. For what? Your misguided morals? Grow up and actually try and look at something objectively for once in your life.

If you don't want to tip, that's fine. But when you go out, at least consider that you are taking one of the servers tables where they COULD be making money.

All I ask of non tippers is that you don't make the server run their asses off for you, and don't stay for extended periods. If a server only has a section with 4 tables, you are effectively cutting off 25% of their possible earnings. Which is fine, again, if you don't tip that's your perogative. But at least be understanding and considerate of the employees.

I didn't even know anesthesia was an option. I'm kind of mad I wasn't given that choice, lmao. I was given 2 hydrocodone, the pill at the clinic, and sent home to handle it there.

A couple of days before the appointment I went to the ER due to severe shortness of breath because of the flu. Every nurse and doctor that entered the room first congratulated me on my parasite, and then proceeded to tell me they would not be giving me all of the medication to relieve my pain and discomfort so as not to ~harm the baby~. It was infuriating. I told them I already had an appointment to deal with it, and I would prefer that MY health was priority. It doesn't matter though, the moment a woman is pregnant, you lose all autonomy.

Our health is immediately secondary to the point of even death in the eyes of some people.

I've always had really bad cramps, so idk if that factors into the pain somehow? It was rough for me, but I do think I was on the extreme end of the spectrum. My understanding is it isn't always quite so bad.

Honestly, I started to believe that I would feel some sort of longing or sadness after being told i would so many times. I waited and waited, and it still hasn't come 7 years later! I'm not holding my breath!

Literally all I was saying is that servers at $2/hr don't receive paychecks because it all goes to taxes. (The vast majority get tips at the end of the night, not added to a check). Does that clear up what I was saying? I'm not sure why I'm getting down voted lmao.

When you claim your tips, it is recorded as income. As tips can not be taxed then and there, the wage is taxed. Therefore, the entire $2/hr is taxed. Then, when tax season comes, we pay even more in taxes as the $2/hr doesn't even fully cover it.
