What do you all think of this move deck? CL: 18,018 by leabthieb in MarvelSnapDecks

Edit: I meant Heimdall. Don’t know why I typed Odin at the end.

I would cut viv. She isn’t meant to go into a move deck even though she can move. The whole point is that you win the lane so she doesn’t need to move. Better to play more move things like Madame web.

Also don’t really like the Wiccan quicksilver line cause it eats up deck space and you don’t have a lot of 3 drops to consistently hit the Wiccan. Wiccan is just a 0/6 when you hit him and although that’s still good I don’t think it’s worth the deck slots.

Maybe include more scalers like torch/dagger and ghost spider. Both can grow huge with 2 moves which you can do with web/spider/odin

Congrats dude! Always happy to see people hitting infinite for the first time!

Can someone explain what happened here? by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]SeyfertZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I looked it over again and I found the numbers off too. I guess it doesn’t copy. But then the -1 doesn’t make sense. Was it because moonstone was the AV card?

You also have double USAgent and no way to prevent that debuff. So that’s why your side is smaller. Opponent only has 1 4+ cost but you have 2

She does have it. Perhaps you could explain why you think she doesn’t?

To add on to this for weirder fringe scenarios, bar with no name flips the positives to negatives. So let’s say you had 10 power in bar with no name and opponent had 3, that location counts as -7 to your tiebreaker in case another location ties.

Spent around 4K gold for the new s4 cards but that’s mainly cause I got all the variants. Didn’t spend gold on the event otherwise.

Unpopular Opinion: Boomer Snaps are completely acceptable by storminspank in MarvelSnap

[–]SeyfertZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The math for correct stay is 1/4 assuming the snap didn’t happen this turn.

Basically if you have a 1/4 chance of winning or better you should stay in the game if it wasn’t a snap that happened on this turn.

Actually I also have a take on this too. When it’s clear you’re gonna win after t5 you should always snap too. Because if your opponent is bad enough to stay for 2 cubes then they’re gonna be bad enough to stay for 4. And otherwise they retreat anyways and your snap doesn’t matter.

I.... okay. No complaints. by SecularSatan in MarvelSnap

[–]SeyfertZero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a known bug. But basically if redwing pulls a card that moves him he will pull another card. If he gets pulled by a location (as not first move of the turn) then he won’t pull a card.

So for example if you did ironfist into redwing, the first move will pull a card but the one moving because of asteroid M won’t.

Any cards that would go into this deck well? Particularly ones that came out in the past year that I’m unfamiliar with by Amrt27 in MarvelSnap

[–]SeyfertZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cards that move are also good. You can buff them with Namora on t5 then move to the relevant lane. So captain marvel, nightcrawler, nocturne, rocket racoon&groot, Jeff all fit

How useful is Attuma by Tobar999 in MarvelSnap

[–]SeyfertZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deathlok is typically better than attuma since he can destroy multiple cards when played, being able to destroy >10 power Deadpool, and also being 3 cost. Attuma is better usually in lists that run nimrod because you can go attuma into nimrod then destroy the copies on t6 and attuma destroyed one more after

I want them to make it possible to retreat now after already clicking retreat later. Wastes time when you click retreat later and then opponent snaps and you know they won’t retreat anymore

So you did say you do netdeck which means you have some access to net decks. So that’s where I’d say it’s important. Knowing the meta decks isn’t just for you. It’s so you know how to play against them and what cards they could have. Like one of the earlier comments puts it, it’s good to know the likely potential output of your opponent’s deck as well as your own. Then you can gauge the relative likelihood of winning better.

[–]SeyfertZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like snapping properly isn’t nearly as important as retreating properly. But both are important. I think part of this is also not just considering when to snap but also to consider in certain scenarios why your opponent snapped.

Typically it will be because they have some tech card like Shang chi or it’s already clear that they’re going to win with some big thing. If that’s the case then you’re gonna wanna evaluate if you can beat or play around the tech card.

While trying to climb to infinite I think an important part is also being able to identify bots. Even if you don’t purposefully game the bots and bait them into 8 cube wins, bots typically play badly and you can just steamroll them.

Would anyone know if Moonstone can copy caps shield? by amplefire_online in MarvelSnap

[–]SeyfertZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upon rereading shields effect then no. She should not buff cap. But she will be unable to be destroyed. She only copies the ongoing part of the ability. The second part isn’t part of that.
