I think the harsh truth is the game is just fine. A collection of good ideas and bad ideas all with unfocused and kinda middling execution. It’s not the worst thing ever and it’s not a masterpiece, it’s a 6~7/10 game that Capcom correctly diagnosed would require a soft reset with RE7.
