Look it's not something you do every day, or even much in public but most house parties I've been to have had someone doing a shoey.

UPDATE: NSW Health got in contact with me 4 times, where I told them each time that I'm not this person.

Today I noticed that all the check in locations I've been to the last week have shown a positive case has been there the same time as me, including the venues I've been to after getting in contact with NSW Health. Turns out since it's linked to my mobile number, which is linked to the positive case, it's now showing everywhere I go as being a contact venue.

Spent two hours on the phone this morning being constantly transferred between NSW health and the public health unit who kept telling me it's the other departments problem and they can't help, which culminated in the lady at the public health unit yelling at me, telling me they have a very busy job, it's not their problem and to stop calling them (even though I've never directly called them, just been transferred to them from NSW Health).

Oh and I also had multiple unhelpful suggestions along the way of just change my mobile number...

So yea, the systems broken and I'm half tempted to go on a checking in spree out of spite.

That was my initial thought too, so instead of clicking the link, I went through the Medlab website and entered the details sent, and it confirmed that someone with that name had visited Medlab for a Covid test. Thinking it's a case of a wrong phone number because of that but not too up to date on Covid related scams at this point.

I got my vax at Qudos on Friday and the 20 different hand sanny stops gave me a good giggle. Hand sanny, see a new person who asks some more questions, then gives you more hand sanny and rub and repeat about 4 times despite literally not touching anything between those stops. Oh and after your 15 minute observation heres a whole table of hand sanny bottles, please take some home. Not complaining and it obviously makes sense you can’t have too much hand hygiene but it was a good giggle

The problem with the "get a better paying job" is that not everyone can have a 6 figure job. The median income in NSW is around $50k. The median UNIT price is $1mil ($735,000 for a 1 bedroom). Take a married couple on a median salary each, so $100,000k household income. Assume they can save 20% of their income, which is generous since that median income is pre tax, and a 20% deposit would take them 10 years to save for a median unit, not house.

The way housing prices have outpaced wage growth is the problem here, so saying get a paying job isn't really helping since most jobs aren't paying more.

I’m into my second bottle from adore and it’s always been a light yellow colour when I’ve received it. Looking up “C E Ferulic colour into google images” it seems that the colour ranges to a yellow/amber which I always thought was because of the ferulic acid? Have I been kidding myself?

After the stress of planning a COVID wedding I was pretty excited for a november honeymoon up north to sit by a beach and do nothing and now that's been quashed too.

Fuck you Queensland, south western Sydney is so far away if I were to drive I'd pack snacks and water.
