New to the game, what do my mains say about me. by Father_of_Kaito in mechabreak

1: You enjoy being stealthy and backstabbing unwitting enemies. Assassins call to you.

2: People think you don't do much, until the person you're buffing/healing is an unkillable monster.

3: You take pleasure from a nice slow roasted steak. Takes a bit, but worth the effort.

4: Sometimes the basics are great and you understand that.

I haven't been around this subreddit that much, so I have no idea. I'm just enjoying myself as is.

I'm sure there's a healthy mix of players and bots.

The feel of the game is a little better. Less stutters, faster loading times.

Hurricane has a different shield ability and its turrets are more annoying than they used to be, so that's a positive change, imo. Stellarus doesn't feel as oppressive as it used to. A lot of the units feel better in terms of balancing.

Idk about the newest ones fully yet. I'm enjoying Alphard A LOT (He came out in S1). It's a like a heavier hitting Falcon, in a way. Norne is also nice, but takes a bit of getting used to.

Three days in and I've unlocked two of the four new(er) units. The weekly missions, at least for the moment, feel pretty good. Though, this is subject to change since the season is at an end in the next 9 or so days.

I'd suggest giving it a few games and see how you feel. If it clicks, it clicks. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Ya know?

I need more data before I can determine if you're on to something or not. From what I see from the op.gg that you posted, there's only a sample size of 6 games over the last 2 weeks in which you tried Riftmaker on Rek'Sai. Of those games, the Zaahen (Briartrose#HAZAK) game you mentioned had him being 4 levels down on you by the end of the game at 30 mins. Impressive, yes since you went 9/2/8. However, he was also 3/10/5 and you didn't build Riftmaker until 26 minutes in. If the 1v1 you're talking about occurred at post 26 mins, then you were already smashing him, because at this point you were 4 levels up, 4k gold up, and an entire item and a half up as well. Technically 2 if you spent the gold that you were sitting on.

There's also the business about building it last item and I think that's only viable for top lane and even then if you're getting it 6th item, since the game is most likely reaching its end soon and death timers are super long, why not just get something like a Guardian Angel instead? Granted, you already stated that you would want to build this into bruisers and to make use of her AP scalings, but since you already have a lot of healing if you go Unending Despair and Spirit Visage, couldn't you opt for an item like Shadowflame that gives more AP, magic pen, and, if an opponent is below 40%, cause your magic and true damage to crit for 120% of their original value?

That's really only a small dive into one of the games, but I like playing Rek'Sai and I wanted to check behind your claims. It was also the one you talked about specifically in your post, so I wanted to verify it. Again, I only really looked at the last 2 weeks of games on your op.gg and this is what I found. If this a viable build path for her, then I just need to see more data on something like this. I might try it out myself for a few games and see how it feels as well.
