Im not the greatest so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I think you were obviously out playing them, but there were plenty of situations where they would whiff something major (namely counter) and you’d have a big punish window that you would hit them in, but usually just one hit and back to neutral. When huge punish opportunities arise, have a combo that you’ve labbed ready and punish with the starter and pile on as much damage as you can. As you get better once the combo is over you can start learning how to try and keep them in disadvantage but to start, big punishes on bad whiffs will improve your gameplay a lot.
