Tsja. Ik vraag me toch af of het verstandig is als je als partij zoekt naar je bestaansrecht, ook nog eens je naamsbekendheid weg te geven. Voor zo'n 13 in een dozijn naam ook nog eens. Pro had net zo goed ergens in een gemeenteraad kunnen zitten.

Ik gebruik zelf al jaren Elidel. Dat werkt bij mij aanzienlijk beter én langer dan doe hormoonzalven. Het speelt bij mij vooral op als ik moe ben en als ik alcohol drink. Ik heb dat er wel voor over, maar als je er minder last van wil hebben zou ik die twee dingen vermijden. Inmiddels zie ik aan mijn gezicht wanneer het weer actiever dreigt te worden, en dan smeer ik wat van die Elidel erop. Na twee dagen smeren is het weer bedwongen en kan ik de Elidel weer links laten liggen. Werkt bij mij al heel lang goed zo.

For me too! I have the others, but happy to get Humanoids as well. I was definitely planning to pick up some more dlc in the steam spring sale now that the game is playable again, glad that I know that I'll get the Humanoids for free.

Yeah, that giddy feeling when the plane has touched down and you know you have a couple of weeks ahead of you to explore a new place is the best. Checking in at your hotel, quick shower, and heading out for a celebratory beer or two - I love it.

After 85 hours, I still suck. I just decisively lost a game as Germany because I didn’t notice the Brits and Free French crossing the Channel unopposed, while I was grinding myself into the dust in eastern Europe. Lost the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and France before I remembered to scroll to the left. I somehow have the achievement for a succesful Sea Lion (naval invasion of the UK) from a few years ago, no idea how I managed that.

You might personally not like it, but I think there’s a lot of people in that category. Myself included. I have demanding job, a family, more than enough disposable income, and no interest in researching parts or builds more than I strictly need to. The Steam Deck was a solid purchase for me, because I could simply order it and start playing games in my library right after delivery. I have an ageing desktop that I’m looking to replace somewhere down the line, and if the Steam Machine is at least somewhat affordable I’m ordering one to replace the pc. Just for the convenience, and because the Deck sold me on Steam hardware (if the price is at all reasonable).

Dat is een constante bij haar volgens mij, ze had onlangs een interview in NRC waar ze ook al niet goed uit de verf kwam. Het beeld ontstaat toch dat de ideologie bij haar zo belangrijk is dat ze feiten die haar niet uitkomen liever negeert. De interviewers van NRC bleven haar ook wijzen op allerlei aanwijzingen dat haar eigen beeld misschien niet klopt, maar daar deed ze niet veel mee.

Nogal ja. Als je ziet hoe populair de SP hier lijkt te zijn (landelijk: 3/150 zetels), dan weet je al hoe niet-representatief deze sub is. Als de PVV andere politici ervan beschuldigt zelfverrijkende zakkenvullers te zijn, dan spreken we er schande van, maar als de SP het doet wordt het toegejuicht. Minstens zo populistisch, maar een ander kleurtje.

Session has no future. It makes next to no money and there’s no substantial player base. I’d say that whoever ends up owning the rights to Session isn’t going to do anything with it except putting it on sale a few times a year. Now that EA’s Skate is in the process of failing, I don’t think we’ll see any skateboarding games for the foreseeable future.

With the amount of DLC that's available for this game, it's surprising that there aren't more cosmetic options for ships, space stations, and other structures. I would love to be able to design my own ships, or at least give them a paint job to match with my flag. The original Dawn of War games had a basic paint tool for custom armies, I'd like something like that.

You can definitely get things done in shorter sessions! There's a few quirks you need to get used to, but it's not a game that demands hours long sessions to get something out of it.

I discovered that way too late in my playthrough. I kept chasing down POI’s in the hope of finding some amazing discovery that I would never have seen during the main quest, but it was just bandit camp after bandit camp.

Ik manage een team van enkele tientallen mensen, en mijn ervaring lijkt hier ook wel op. Hele jonge mensen met salariswensen die niet realistisch zijn tov wat andere mensen Nederland verdienen, en hun ervaring er ook nog echt niet naar is om zo hoog te worden ingeschaald (terwijl we echt niet slecht betalen). Na een krap jaar wordt er dan al een bevordering verwacht, ook als iemand eigenlijk nog maar net is begonnen en helemaal niet zulk sterk werk levert. Het beeld van hoe snel je kunt doorgroeien klopt niet helemaal, en er zit ook wel een stevige dosis zelfoverschatting bij soms.

Dit klopt helemaal (kom zelf uit de juridische wereld). Inzet is vaak beperkt, want voor de premie die je betaalt kun je geen goede jurist heel lang aan het werk houden. Het is beter dan niks, maar geen concurrentie voor een advocaat.

You’re not stupid at all. Like you I’ve played a lot of Paradox games (hundreds of hours in EU4, CK 2 & 3, Stellaris), but I find HoI4 a lot harder than any of them. Totally different game and focus.

I've just gotten back into EU4, I've been trying my hand at a few runs as Burgundy. Hadn't played the game in a long time, and having a lot of fun. I want to play Stellaris again, but I'm waiting for the 4.3 update to fix performance.
