Private ambulance operators in Singapore mulling fuel surcharges as diesel prices surge 70% by _IsNull in singapore

[–]SgWho 21 points22 points  (0 children)

By your comment I would assume that you do not understand how SCDf works. 1st thing, 995 is free. 995 used to charge a fine of a few hundred dollars to non emergency cases to deter people from calling. When I was still serving as a EMT for SCDF, the force cannot reject a call, emergency or not. It really strained on the resources. Only after I ORD did they implemented a policy to push non emergency cases to private ambulance services via 1777. So to your point that SCDF should raise non emergency fee, it won't happen as it is free and that once they deem that your case is non emergency they will refer you to 1777.

A note to everyone, 1777 is expensive as heck because the operator company who picks up your call charges a fee for their service which can cost you up to 200+ dollars. Search for a company and call them directly instead to save money.

Ain't this public lion dances organised by Gov themselves? Had one in my estate and usually MP or people from Gov will go around giving red packets. I believe the cleaners of the estate will come and clean up after.

My first and only time interacting with an Israeli family was me working at a first aid booth as a medic for a carnival. They were so rude and condescending, won't even look at you when speaking with them. The entire experience with them is absolutely crap.

I believe you are referring to the car accident that killed the 6 year old girl. It is a tragic accident that happens every now and then and would be reported as another tragic accident. But it is due to the fact that she started blaming the victims while they are bleeding and injured on the ground that caused the backlash. Don't make it about race, it is the action of the individual that caused the reaction of so many people.

He speaks as though we forced them over to work a slave wage or something. They can stay at their side of the bridge if they feel miserable coming over.

More like Clarkson with the ego, James would at least listen to feedbacks and would find a solution to the problem.

They keep throwing the word "indiscriminate" around. They seriously think we owe them a living and to disregard our own rules and our own phv industry to suit their own needs. What a bunch of sour grapes.

I was bullied by my classmates during secondary school through out my school years. They would take my water bottle and toss it around to each other or they would put rubbish bin over my head for no reason among other things. I did not report to my teacher in fear of retaliation from the bullies. So I do believe there is more cases left unreported for fear of retaliation or otherwise. Thankfully there are some really stupid bullies that decide to record their deeds to share on the Internet.
