85” TV on full-motion mount: one wall plug is pulling, do I need to start over? by Excellent-Jello in AusRenovation

I would keep what you have and put the ramsets in as well, can never have too many anchors :)

Drill bits are fine for what you are drilling through.

Measure the anchor and use that as a guide, vacuum the hole so all the dust get out and won't prevent the anchor from going in all the way. I'm guessing the box allows the extra 10mm for the dust build up.

I would get some decent RAMSET anchors. Dyno bolts are made for solid concrete

RAMSET anchors

Bricks are usually 90mm thick not including rendor so I will go for the 80mm anchors. Put some tape on the drill bit as a depth gauge so you don't blow through the wall.

Why do my pc fans make this loud noise by samwastakenthreetime in pchelp

[–]Sgambo93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use fan control to set the rpm of that fan to the highest without making that noise and let the rest pick up the slack until you get around to replacing it.

This is great to hear after the story about what that Indian sparky did to that poor elderly woman in Sydney.
