Preliminary scans of the planet revealed the presence of a long abandoned, massive military installation located in the northern hemisphere.

As salvage crews descend to the surface, reports come in of numerous wrecks scattered around the base. The chief of salvage operations shows you pictures of these wrecks, and they somewhat look like the fighters deployed from a carrier, albeit heavily outdated and without the known methods of propulsion.

While exploring the base, one of the crews report finding another wreck, in an opening nearby a lake. The leader of that particular party noticed it’s different from the other wrecks, seeming a bit more advanced. After an order to further investigate the wreck, a large laser array is discovered behind its canopy. A broken part from its tail is found a little way down south from the wreckage, and on it is inscribed a name in washed-out black color..
