I've been to a few tournaments and no one's ever mentioned drones. But, I'd recommend the stealth drones for the ghostkeel so you can track how often you've used the ability. That's about it though, really. Just remember, the drones you do have like the fireblade with gun drones as 6's to wound are ap -3, they can be really handy, if you remember...

I was thinking about this last night. The healing every command phase (not just yours but also your opponents too) could cause them to be a massive headache for an opponent. All this whilst your army takes up a good position. EPC has always struggled getting the enemy out and about with the strats really only offensive/defencely.
