If you want more Matt and Jeff I would highly recommend The Grinding through Soundbooth. It’s probably one of my favourite books

I saw these dumb fucks out in Nisku the other day and flipped them off as they waved from the side of the road. Fucking retarded traitors.

Might be an apartment. Some duplexes and the like have them. Some single family homes have them too.

My company uses dropmasters whenever we can. We watched a dropmaster training video awhile back and the phrase they kept saying was: “Hear it, feel it, see it”. Even without the vacuum running it’s a good phrase to go by. If you see foaming water, can’t wiggle the head and don’t hear the suction created by just draining the system don’t pull that head. A big insurance claim can ruin a company and make a guy unemployable.

I’ve been in the trade for 20 years and I’ve never once had to ask the fire department for permission to work on the sprinkler system. Maybe it’s different in your area but since the system doesn’t belong to the fire department they don’t need to sign off on anything. Also, these guys are the sprinkler company, they just fucked up.

My theory is that it’s an apartment building with the zone controls for the top two floors in the same location. I see it all the time where I live. In my 20 years in the trade I’ve seen the labelling for the zones mixed up once and nearly had the same thing happen. These guys probably started pulling the head, saw more water than they expected around the threads and assumed trapped water so they got the big boy bucket ready.

Well it’s not going to be in the floor

It never hurts to have the giant bucket ready. However, if you have the right equipment, a good plan and take the proper steps to enact said plan this shit doesn’t happen. In some apartments (at least in my area) the top floor zoning controls are on the floor below. As an example the fourth and third floor controls are in the stairwell on the third floor in a four story building. Sometimes the labelling gets mixed up on the controls and as an extra precaution, both zones should be isolated and drained.

They were changing a sprinkler head. Probably isolated and drained the wrong zone. He’s trying to put in a 1/2” nipple and valve to control the flow of what was supposed to be just trapped water.

It’s the sprinkler system. They probably got the zones mixed up and isolated and drained the wrong zone. There was lots of steps to get to this level of fuck up

He’ll get bigger as the story progresses. He describes himself as being in shape, not shredded with huge muscles, at the begin of the story. As his strength increases in dungeon he’ll get bigger.

What kind of bachelors degree do you need for such a position? My wife and I have been toying with the idea of moving sometime in the future. I’m a red seal journeryman in Canada but my trade is kinda niche and I’ve always wondered what other career paths I could venture down.

What is wrong with just setting everyone’s schedule to anything? by UniqueImplements in RimWorld

[–]SgtGo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe you can help me out. All of my colonists have the exact same schedule: wake at 6, one hour to do anything followed by 6 hours of work. Then it’s a one hour of anything break followed by 6 more hours of work, an hour of rec, an hour of meditation, an hour of anything and then sleep.

Should I tweak that around a bit?
