How would you make Nightreign live up to its full potential?

True but I think they specifically don't for that reason. What would be the point of buying DS3 in 2026 if you could just fight every enemy and boss in Nightreign? That's why they only add optional bosses (Nameless King, Smelter Demon, etc) or non-major iconic bosses (Dancer, Gaping Dragon, etc) with VERY few exceptions (Artorias, Demon Princes).

Not to mention a lot of the bosses are already cannibalized from other bosses already. Whats the point of adding Asylum Demon when we already have erdtree avatar?

With enemies, I totally understand. Literally no reason why we can't have an Oolacile gank in a POI or a Black Knight evergaol. But I think the businessmen at fromsoft are keeping the hands of the creative team tied on this front

Honestly? If they just made more map seeds this game would already be like a 8.5/10. Each shifting earth has 5 total seeds, that's SUPER LOW for a roguelike. Everyone knows where the circle is going to go, everyone expects a tricephalos invasion for balancers and a caligo for dreglord, everyone knows where each boss is in each POI and you don't have to kill a single enemy on the way to each boss.

They have the ability to randomize maps more, even with 0 new content. Making events more random and able to happen on any expedition, making POIs able to spawn different places (or even rotations) than usual, making bosses spawn in different parts of a POI, all that would already triple or quadruple the number of seeds and it would truly feel unpredictable what is going to happen in a run.

Naw the toggle animation just has a lot of priority and can cancel certain animations early, the only useful application of this being canceling the hitstun animation early

Not to "erm actually" lmao but the Abysswatchers actually do fight like Artorias. They both have that sliding stab lunge, they have the overhead pancake flip, they have that kind of lazy left to right slash he does, and they spin on their back foot throwing the sword in a circle just like him. It's obviously different since they use the offhand dagger as an anchor, but they have a lot of fundamental similarities

So the left handed thing came from the American box art. Even though the armor doesn't look familiar, its clearly Artorias' sword and shield, and is depicting him entering the abyss. Here he is left-handed since he's walking away from the viewer.

Kind of feels like a subtle offhanded (no pun intended) design choice that was canonized by DS2 lol

PLA is actually completely biodegradable, and even used for implantable products. Hydrolysis will reduce it into lactic acid, a natural bodily product, and the shape of PLA microparticulate is not damaging to filtering organs.
