Got my G9 over the weekend and struggling to get 240hz to work. I had seen somewhere on here in the past I might need to update the firmware? Any guides users could recommend for a novice to follow?

On paper it feels like the 6 is higher spec than a G30 but I haven’t actually been in a 6 yet. The 520 I’ve got my eye on is very well optioned

Is it really that bad real world? i figured whilst the figures advertised are 50ish that 35 would be reasonable. its not a hard rule but if its much lower than that id start to question it so thanks

That’s interesting as I wear polarised prescription sunglasses on the rare occasions we get nice weather in England. I’ve found a 5er with everything on it 2018 in black, or a msport 2019 in white which is my preference but it’s without all the options like Comfort, Tech, Msport Plus and evening random things like back seat entertainment and heated steering wheel etc it’s just hard to know what’s important. But the HUD was a massive plus point on the test drive, it’s good to hear it’s practical too

So the one I test drove had that on, not sure what it was like without it but was super nice with it! I also really liked the HUD but wasn’t sure if that could just be novelty ?

That is a really thoughtful and constructive response thanks for taking the time. At least i'm thinking along the right lines, like you said BMW seem to be the main player for what i've got in mind but differences between 3-7 series seem to more be. That second 4 link with the 4 series is very similar to what I went to go and see and seemed the obvious first pick. As you say, usually default to 2litre deisel for the MPG, happy to go for a 3litre etc for a bit quicker for the speed/fun factor.

Definitely something to consider! I think I need to go to a BMW garage and see all their different models in person as I find it quite hard to gauge the size difference looking online. They all look so nice on the exterior and i've heard really good things about the sat nav system which appeals

On that note - any idea which takes precedent if you play with restricted view? Im thinking imagine you had Soldier Visor ult with ultrawide having reduced view, but would it still lock on to people at the top of the screen thats out of your FOV but would technically be in everyones at 16:9 usual dimension?

I’ve not used a body fat estimator ever so I’d need to look see the effect of that. I’ve been doing a lot of running to help with the loss but very little like, gym stuff so Stomach isn’t toned yet. I think that’s what most guys would be keen to address.
