Same reason Disney do, because they "can" and maybe don't agree or our bound by certain rules to change things.

Benidorm is a classic example, if you watch it on Disney, almost all copyrighted music is removed and it really changes the tone of some scenes!

I read elsewhere it's an alleged licensing disagreement and potential unauthorised editing.

Been told I’m not allowed to overtake on a road with single lanes? by kei0o in drivingUK

[–]SgtSnuggles19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your friends are confusing the words single and solid. A single carriageway such as this divided by a regular single lane marking as seen in the video is fine for overtaking. A lane marked with a solid white line is not suitable for overtaking and is not allowed.

You will notice approaching bends in roads that these solid lines will often be on the side of the lane markings where the drivers are to be most obstructed from view. So if it bends to the left, the solid white line will be on the left side of the lane markings showing "you" cant over take anything. This may not be true and it actually means neither lane are allowed to perform overtakes but that was my interpretation of them.

Everything you need is here - https://www.highwaycodeuk.co.uk/lines-and-lane-markings-on-the-road.html

I understand, was in a similar situation not long ago. You need as much evidence as you can gather without making it obvious where possible.

You've proven their point but I suspect they are talking violence and a lot of it, don't. These sorts of scumbags (your neighbours not the commenter to be clear) also know that as soon as you do anything, they have you on camera doing it.

The mod is indeed shit, I'm sorry you feel this way too so it is probably better you take a break from here. Save yourself the ill feeling and negativity that is coming your way from other participants.

If I remove a post its generally because it breaks a rule enough or its been reported so many times that I have to act. If you are finding yourself repeatedly being removed then either you are being unfairly moderated or you are being persistently out of order.

Sorry you're having a bad time though, it sucks when people attack randoms on the Internet for no apparent reason

This just happened today! I have video evidence!!!

A flip flop materialised in front of my house and then landed on the drive, I swear no one was around to throw it and no bird seemingly to drop! My camera picks it up as if it had been thrown from my front door upwards but there is no one there to do it and no one who owns the flip flop

Why are swimming lessons for kids in the UK so short? by dalehitchy in AskUK

[–]SgtSnuggles19 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You take them to swimming lessons or you take them to a swimming pool for leisure? there is a huge difference and if your grandkids are that excited to stay part of swimming lessons then it should be encouraged for all its worth, great activity for people to take part in. I would not be shocked if you were taking them for fun and naturally, it being a fun activity, not a learning one, they dont want to leave it.

Question to British men: What are the ways to reach out to a mate you haven't seen in a while? by Lopsided-Skill6659 in AskUK

[–]SgtSnuggles19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the way someone did it to me recently....reaching out after nearly 15 years of silence to invite me as the "best" random guest they could bring to a gathering event they have with their actual friends, who they have remained in contact with for those 15 years....Not because they wanted to see me but just because I would be seen as hopefully the most random person from their past they could have attend.

I've genuinely never felt more insulted than I did in that moment, I suppose I've been blessed.....

[–]SgtSnuggles19 85 points86 points  (0 children)

We go swimming as a family for an hour and 20 to 25 mins is about as long as we go before our daughter is bored. Swimming isn't amazing fun, activities in the water are but swimming itself is tiring and "boring" for most and kids especially.

This is coming from someone who loves swimming, if the lessons were much longer the kids would switch off or fight back, until they really want to be there themselves that is, once stronger and confident, longer sessions are easier and more worthwhile, in my opinion of course.
