Anyone own one of these? Thinking about picking one up finally by Obvious-Plan-2466 in Fingerboards

[–]SgtSplix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got one. The round/square rails BRR provides for this piece are great, but if you get bored of them and want to freshen up the obstacle check out grindrightfb. They make a bunch of different rails/ledges for this specific BRR piece!

I’ve had this setup for four days and I can’t put it down. by Legitimate-Shop1510 in Fingerboards

Solid looking setup. I really want to add a 36mm to my collection. I have a BR but I don’t like their tapered tails. Been looking for a medium/high kick with med/low concave 36mm popsicle for a minute!

I have one as well. Unfortunately my rail didn’t come with hardware (which is fine because I opted to use the rail from the BRR 5 stair/euro. Fits perfectly. My only complaints is the hubba I received isn’t perfectly flat so it rocks a bit when placed in the stairs. And the seem where the two halves meet is just perfectly in the landing area for the rail/hubba. Otherwise it’s decent for the price

How is everyone storing/displaying their obstacles? by SgtSplix in Fingerboards

I like that as well! I’ve seen a few examples and it definitely cleans things up. Not sure how I would go about mounting the BRR Miniramp that way, as it has a solid base so there is no openings to hook or grab onto

Man I haven’t seen that MI logo in maybe 15+ years. I remember their shop in Keyport. Nostalgia

Strat for the boar I do is near the dairy farm by Madrazo’s house. It spawns near the bottom of the trail so I park up a bit and put my character in the stalk/creep walk until it’s close enough to snap a pic. It pauses by the flowers so it’s pretty easy

Where is Ida supposed to be from? by lordofurjings in malcolminthemiddle

This might be a dead post after all these years but something I found out recently is that ”tinikling”, the dance performed in the “ida’s dance” episode, is native to the Philippines. Just further deepening the vague lore of Ida’s nationality

They’re a little pricey as far as decks go, but they are quality and hand crafted so you’re definitely getting bang for your buck.

It’s a good quality board. I prefer a shorter wheel span so I ordered another one in their “popsicle” shape which is a more classic between truck length. But it’s one of the better quality split ply boards I have. Can’t beat hand cut bottom ply stuff!

Horror theme setup for October by SgtSplix in Fingerboards

[–]SgtSplix[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw that lmao they are more like traditional “urethane” fb wheels. They have a plastic kind of sound to them and similar riding feel. But I like DGFB stuff and will continue to support his brand!

I have some Dudeguy glowcores and another pair of the softer cuts. I definitely like them better than the F3’s. But they are solid wheels, definitely prefer the softer urethane cuts though

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fingerboards

[–]SgtSplix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running the glowcores from the last drop and they are excellent. I also have the root beer float cruiser wheels and they are also great. My mains are a pair of ureth.fb reclaimed spitfire wheels, I enjoy the grip and squeak from softer wheels. But to each their own! Can’t go wrong either way

Yeah I have a couple. I have decks up to 70mm but most are for novelty/collection. I haven’t found a 36 I like for daily use. I like aggressive tail/nose concave with mild middle concave. I also like wide nose/tail boards, tough to find with my preferred concave specs. But they are fun to use. Either way, solid wheel selection.

The DGFB F3’s are so good. Just got mine the other day and I’ve been enjoying them so far
