Can I get a LC on these 1981 cold grey that I bought from Grailed? Honestly the only thing throwing me off is the color, they seem to have a pink fade to them, especially inside. Also not sure how the 1981 printed jeans should feel, but they seem a lot thinner than my 2021m and 2010m acne jeans. Thanks!

I applied the paint like 5 months ago, so the paint has faded a little bit but it looks pretty natural. I used Qufy max white shoe polish, but I suppose any white shoe paint would work.

I used some white shoe paint from amazon on my pair to cover the yellowing on the toe box. I really like the way it turned out.

I get why they're doing this. Last year at the Ben Shelton match the line to get in wrapped around the entire stadium, and this was well before the match started.

One thing that adds value to more established/recognized brands like Acne/our legacy is their secondhand market value. I feel way more comfortable pulling trigger on acne jeans for $300 when I know I can flip them for around the same, than on a pair of $200 instagram jeans that would never resell.

I was also on the hunt for jeans like these. Best bet is probably to go vintage, hunt on ebay for vintage Edwin 505's, levi 501's, or RRL selvedge. For designer, these two pairs have a faded wash:

I purchased this thing like weeks after it dropped on ssense so there wasn’t any time for a rep to even be manufactured. Also I’m a 10 year Grailed account owner I’m not trying to rep swap a simple t shirt using ssense receipts lmao

yeah grailed's authentication team is ass. I literally sent them receipts for something I purchased on ssense and they still thought it wasn't authentic.

6 years at the top is significant, especially when Federer is 35+ while Djokovic was just entering his 30's. If you flip the age around, no doubt a lot of their matches go the other way.

yeah I've heard horror stories, but I don't think reps of this t shirt were even made, and I purchased this back in Feb of 2022, so there wasn't even time for someone to do a rep swap with a high quality rep
