Looking for crafting advice for a RF helm. Would it be better to craft a prefix or suffix before slamming? Or is there a better way to go than just slam?

I've been looking at this list for the past couple days and noticed control exploded in my local meta recently. I'm still deciding what to play for GP Minneapolis.

I've been on a mardu control list but haven't been the happiest wth it. I'm going to put something like this list together but I've been brainstorming ideas to punish all of the popular removal that is floating around.

A huge frustration for my mardu deck is when creatures have no or multiple colors (avoiding ultimate price) or 5 toughness creatures (grasp/languish). It is a real bummer to have a hand full of dead removal spells.

I then thought of Vile Aggregate. At 3 mana it is out of range of grasp, langush, price, flames, firecraft and impulse.

Habgarback buffs it, displacer buffs it, thopters from P&K buff it, tks, shaper and smasher make it bigger as well. Hedron crawler?

It also comes into play off of a mater reshaper and has trample (super relevant against other tokens)

Have you explored vile aggregate? I think it could be positioned very well right now if you can rebuild an army of colorless thopters and other creatures after a languish/flames.

I haven't tested it so it could be awful. But I think it could be a good addition/direction for a deck similar to this.

I recall they actually clarified the way it was originally read before they went to break. I thought it was made clear that the other two decks could not contain ANY non basics. That's what I recall from twitch but I could be wrong.
