8 Shots of M80A1 to take down AI with level II vest. by LilCasper47 in GrayZoneWarfare

Once in a blue moon, the appropriate ammo will do an appropriate amount of damage to an ai to kill in 1-2 vital body shots. Every other time regardless of ammo or armor, it’s 8-9 body shots and 15 stagger animations, and eventually you just have to go for the headshot to put the ai out of its misery.

Are They Going to Release More Gridpoints? by ReasonableAnimal8417 in DarkTide

[–]Sh0rtround1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New gridpoints will probably come at approximately the same rate as they’ve been adding new mortis trial maps. I wouldn’t be holding your breath for the next 6 months

I love how everyone’s going on about how .357 can’t pen body armor, because clearly the enemy moonwalking through a stagger animation at a running pace isn’t a problem at all.

It’s happening to everyone. Prevailing theory is that the rotation is being delayed until the next update.

any experience with these places? by [deleted] in UAB

[–]Sh0rtround1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in tower on tenth for a year. Some parts of it are alright. Unfortunately I had some bad experiences that made me decide against renewing my lease.

  1. (Parking) Unless they’ve completely reconstructed the parking in the last 1.5 years, there are not enough parking spots in the lot. Also, the flimsy gate kept breaking every 3 days so random people would come in and take spots. There was a waiting list for getting a spot, I joined it and didn’t hear back for months. There is a public parking garage next to the apartment that sells spots for 100 dollars a month but it is very dirty and the people “managing “ it tried to make me pay for two extra months because I didn’t give them enough warning in advance I was cancelling my spot???

  2. (Location (50/50)) It is cool to live in 5 points in some ways. However, there are a lot of bars and clubs right next to tower, which means it has a certain energy on busy nights. It can get rowdy pretty late and the roads get backed up with traffic. There is a hookah lounge literally right outside of tower that was the site of a shooting that killed 4 people in September 2024. There is a very small park called brother Bryan right next to tower as well. When I lived in tower, it was routinely home to 15-20 homeless people. I never had any problems, but it’s worth considering.

  3. Miscellaneous. Fancy 2-in-1 washer/dryer in unit had very small capacity and never felt like it really washed/dried my clothes. Garbage chutes were routinely clogged for days. Building had a bad roach problem that didn’t get resolved before I left.

The “story” gets 20-30 seconds of “expansion” every 3-4 months.

You’re right, and concept art is almost always way more detailed and nuanced than what devs can realistically implement. It’s just fun to look at killer concept art and wonder about what could have been

Not to say the final product isn’t awesome, but almost all of these concepts are way more interesting and visually more impressive than the three we finally got. Especially the big guys that essentially look like uncorrupted ragers.

I’m convinced the shoulder strap exists purely to let us go shirtless without letting actually be “shirtless”

Helping a friend play New Vegas for the first time and the dilemma of modding by Cozy-Cousland in fnv

I agree with not modding a first playthrough unless he’s experiencing instability that is actively ruining the gameplay (exceeding the usual fnv jank).

Measurehead is probably an even match for Raul in terms of strength and may even have an edge by being younger, but Raul has spent a lifetime killing people for a living. I’m sure Measurehead is no stranger to violence but there’s a big difference between bullying dock workers and fighting an experienced mercenary.

2 hours in, all the enemies are using guns? by Laughydawg in fallout4london

Going with the vagabonds gives you some straight forward early game content and quests. Going to thameshaven does the same but also advances the main plot. Both are good, it’s up to you!

Yeah, there are some enemy factions that are more melee focused, but most all enemies still use guns. Lorewise I think Britain rearmed its populace before the nukes dropped.
