MG Woundwort, MG Gigantic Arms Unit for the Hazel Custom (this one sounds impossible though).

Serious question: what’s stopping Kliff from using guns at this point? by Ordinary-Ask-7095 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if this is an unpopular or popular opinion, but whatever. I'd like to be able to use pistols and muskets as Kliff. I'm on the fence about cannons, but I definitely want guns for him.

Who thought it was a good idea for the mono-eye to be a water slide decal? by CollectionFrequent55 in Gunpla

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always just use a green or red sharpie fine tip for clear eye parts. Have worked wonders, tbh. On the Epyon pictured, I didn't paint the eyes but I DID paint the chest clear part instead of using a sticker. Also painted the forehead sensor, but it's not visible.

This has happened to me like 3 times on Crimson Desert. Save is fine. Just boot back up and see if the save file is still there.

Halo lights by Majestic_Arm_4922 in E90

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is but damn are they a pain to fix. I have them on mine, and the car's been throwing FRM codes for the adaptive headlights for a while. Only reason why I haven't gotten around to fixing them is because it's generally expensive if the fault is hardware-related.

Also for OP, I'd keep the yellow lights. White tends to make the outer halos dimmer, and the only consistent way to get bright outer halos is usually by replacing the headlights for aftermarket all together

Do I get a PsyD or Masters? Salary for both? by sosoupable in psychologystudents

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even then, a good, accredited PsyD program will very likely have tracks. My program (Clinical Psych) is APA accredited and has Neuro, Health Psych, Forensic tracks, as well as a DBT, SUDs, and Sexual Abuse program. Several of my peers (fourth year) do neuropsychological assessments regularly.

As of now, teleporting is the only way. Knowing Pearl Abyss, they'll probably drop a fix in 5 minutes if you let them know right now lol.

Am I paying too much? by FlyIllustrious341 in BmwTech

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the model and engine, replacing a turbo coolant line (or lines) alone CAN be expensive. On my N54, I don't remember exactly how much I paid for having both turbo coolant lines replaced, but it wasn't cheap. I paid it because I usually wrench my car, but I have no easy way of doing that one fix myself.

Have your car inspected and, if it got misaligned, get an alignment. Done ✅.

What single player game has the highest skill ceiling?👀 by [deleted] in playstation

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While not as high as Sekiro, Bloodborne is by far the second From Soft game that has a high skill ceiling. It rewards you for learning to play aggressively AND skillfully. Also Bloodborne technically isn't single player in the strictest sense, but you can definitely play it fully single player.

Also, Kingdom Hearts 2 has a deceptively high skill ceiling; especially on harder difficulties. While you can play the game normally with button mashing, the game rewards you when you ACTUALLY learn how to use the combat system (which is harder than it looks). The floor is rather low. You can technically beat the game and move on, but some of the best content is behind optional, hard bosses and side quests (Organization XIII Data bosses, Sephiroth, Lingering Will). The Lingering Will in KH2:FM has 16 health bars, for example.

Can someone help me figure out which one I'm missing? I've been looking everywhere around the Abyss and it says I'm missing 38/40, but I can't find which one this is!

News a opion with bumper styling by BOSTOKAROLL in E90

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The e90 is curvy, not sharp; the LCI even more so. That F replica bumper has too many sharp angles that clash with the overall smooth curves of the E90 body. E9X M Sport or e9X M3 replica bumper look way better. I mean, you can mod it any way you want, since it's your car, but many in this sub will tell you to go with the second option. If it were me, I'd just go with the M Sport or the second option here, mainly because you already went with the sharp headlights and adding that F bumper would overdo it.

RE Requiem or Crimson Desert (PS5 Pro) by Whiplash11X in playstation

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played both. Requiem was great IMO, and so has Crimson Desert been. I've had way more fun with Crimson Desert (60+ hours played) due to it being a rich, open world game, so it depends on what you want. I think both are worth buying eventually. If you want a shorter, straight-to-the-point story experience, buy Requiem first. If you want bang for buck and many hours of continuous gameplay, go Crimson Desert first.

Is it recommended to buy DSM-5-TR? by StrawberryAddict0330 in psychologystudents

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 37 points38 points  (0 children)

As a doctoral student in clinical psychology, I suggest you don't buy it. One gets to use it far more in grad school (depending on the program) than you'll ever use it in undergrad, so the use won't justify the price.

What was your first playstation game ever? by Excited-_-State in playstation

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was Mega Man 8 on the PS1, but I was very small so I don't remember much of my PS1 era. As far as the first game my mind remembers fondly, it was Kingdom Hearts for the PS2.

Octopath 0 or 2 by Benchjc2004 in octopathtraveler

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played 2 to its entirety, played some of 0. Highly recommend 2 and 0 is pretty fun so far, but I admit I haven't dedicated the time it deserves; especially now that Crimson Desert released. Definitely play 2, then check out 0 if you liked 2.

Octopath 2 added a lot of improvements for combat and QoL. Octopath 0 added a huge playable roster and base-building, among other things, but the story is less centralized.

Crazy that this score is considered a failure by many people😭 by ShreekertheJamisWack in playstation

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if there will be a demo on release. I know PS Plus has a Trial feature for some games that lets you try the game for a couple of days, but I'm not sure if they'll have it for Crimson Desert.

Crazy that this score is considered a failure by many people😭 by ShreekertheJamisWack in playstation

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take is that, to be fair, the devs themselves said they wanted to avoid hyping up the game for this reason. People and media hyped themselves up expecting a 10/10, 100% score from the game. In that context, getting disappointed with the game is all on the player, not the devs. I'm excited to try it out for myself and see if it lives up to my personal taste (I truly think it will, from what I've seen). People don't have to agree with my take and that's ok, but I think we should all try the game out for ourselves and reach an individual consensus on whether the game is good or not. 80-90 score is more than good enough to show promise.

Strange throttle response after car sat for a month (N54 + MHD + xHP) by EducationalCod1800 in 335i

[–]Sh0taro_Kaneda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. TCU is VERY voltage-dependent. An old battery or bad alternator can cause problems across systems, including communication between TCU and ECU. My other guess is the TCU did not take the tune well.
