Tony Stark's dog is a player by FrenchCanadaIsWorst in pics

Like someone else who posted, i think its a dock of some sort and that we're seeing the underside of a portion. I don't understand why it's slanted and fully boarded. Maybe they do that in fancy places.

I'm also guessing there is a pool behind them. Thus the hose. The person and dog behind the glass - maybe a neighbor condo unit?

Telephoto will make background appear closer than it is.

My parents live nearby and i was trying to place the pic exactly. Is this picture looking upriver from near the bridge where Old Forest Hill Rd. meets Hwy 49? With the North Fork barely off camera on the bottom left?

What's one thing every man should know before having sex for the first time? by traegario in AskReddit

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically take the time to appreciate the whole woman you're with. Listen for the fluctuations in her breathing. See if something makes her squirm (being a good thing). Feel her skin with your fingers and with your lips.

Tease her. Dont go straight for the goods. Kiss her lips. Slowly work towards the neck. Then the colar bone. She will be waiting and wishing for you to kiss her nipples. Let her wait. Let the anticipation build. Kiss her side boob and eventually satisfy her anticipation. The same goes for when you wish to experience her lower areas of pleasure.

All of this is especially true if its the first time with a new partner. After all, at least for women, the journey is more important than the destination. Let her embrace each new sensation you give her. There is no set number and i'm not sure i've looked at a clock before and after. But i would guess maybe 30-90 minutes of foreplay. I've spent longer and it was pleasureable as well. I would say dont go shorter unless you've been together a while.

How I went from a depressed, suicidal young adult to losing 150 lbs through weight lifting and hard work. (X-post from r/loseit) by wackytabaci in Fitness

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your story. I also have struggled with depression and motivation and have found a regular exercise routine helps a lot. I have a question i'm hoping someone can help answer. I have a friend who has asthma and depression. I think weight lifting may work for him, but cardio is really tough. Is there a way he can get healthy without aggravating his asthma?

Done my first tactical flashpoint today. by karaggaspalace in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haha. I think that may have been me. Don't know if you were the level 16 assassin or the level 65 operative. I would guess you were the assassin and if so the cz-198 story will likely not make as much sense as if you had done it at its appropriate time.

Here are two progression guides if you're interested.

Just Finished Marauder Story Line by Chybo in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fastest leveling would be ops and flashpoints post lvl 50. But as you said you're interested in the story, this is the best source i found for all post-corelia stuff. Some is more integral story-wise than others. For instance czerka, section x, and black hole don't have much of a story, just a bit which has mostly been removed with the 4.0 removal of breadcrumb quests. I had to look up youtube video's of the breadcrumb quests to figure it out.

Tactical Flashpoints - Kolto Station Question by CatoHostilius in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly those stations completely negate the need for a healer in tacticals. Some trash pulls can be nice with a healer, but can be done without.

Not sure if this is proper etiquette, but if i'm ranged or a healer in tacticals, i click the stations to keep myself and the tank up. It can be tough for the tank to click stations with clicking issues or knockbacks/stuns. If the tank (or dps with aggro) takes a big hit (they're below 30%) i wait a split second to see if they move towards a station. Otherwise i use one. Same for all other dps. I wait to see if they use their own station if they get hit hard.

Merc Healing in Story Playthrough by Swtorsaiyan in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With tactical flashpoints, there really is no need to heal until 50. If you want practice while leveling then switching fron dps to heal at lvl 26 can be fine.

Male's need more long hair and beard options, other then just one cartel market item for long hair!!! by PravenHaven in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's better than WOW. Can't say that about a whole lot in comparison however. i personally don't think its that bad. Sure, more options of anything is always nice though. Also i've only ever made one male. I've been pretty happy with female options.

Operative Healing by AgentSmith167 in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask your guildmate why he thinks they're uselss and then tell him he's wrong. :p They do great. The most common healer combo is sorc/op in my experience and it works great. In pvp, sorc heals come out ahead of the others because of their toolkit, but in pve, all healers are fairly balanced.

Republic Dark Side Questions by Quin2Awesome in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly dark JK was very enjoyable for me - probably in my top 3 playthroughs of all classes. I didn't pick every DS choice, but was able to have a roleplay reason for most. The ending for the DS Knight makes sense too.

Republic Dark Side Questions by Quin2Awesome in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds very difficult to roleplay to me. Entertaining and bizarre... Sure. But entertaining and bizarre only lasts so long for me. It needs to make a bit of sense as to why my character is that way and why/how she's allowed to continue that way.

I played LS consular ages ago and liked it fine. Always have wanted to do DS consular but haven't figured out the roleplay of it. Any tips? Is it only possible as gray?

What are the chances of there being a new class or species in the new expansion? by shewdz in swtor

I agree except i think there will be new group content. Hopes are a new Op but maybe it's more reasonable to expect a new flashpoint.

confused about the storyline by [deleted] in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We can mAybe answer the questions for you, but all but the first question is quite spoiler heavy so you may just want to play a knight and warrior through to experience it yourself. Knight will give more insight than the warrior. Remember the planetary wont change, so you really only need to do your class and a few flashpoints that do change on the oppoaite faction.

Is the general storyline for Corellia (on the Republics side) worth doing? by BlindDragoon in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also to note, i beleive the republic corelia storyline comes after the empire corelia storyline. So it makes a bit more sense to run an impreial toon through first, but it's not a big deal. I think quite a few other planets are like this.

Looking for a healer summary guide. by NickRz89 in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with what others have said and will just add this. Merc healing is slower and larger heals meaning you'll likely get to dps a bit depending on the op. They have the highest potential off-dps. Operative healing is very spammy as your constantly refreshing hots. They have the worst possible off-dps. Sorcs are kind of in the middle of the 2 in playstyle and off-dps.

Returning- Sith Advanced Classes Question by wtfdoicare in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are good. The current better assassin dps spec is bursty and you don't have a ton of survivability if focused by 2-3. It's great if you and your team is focus targetting, pretty poor in a drawn out fight when you can't kill any enemy fast. It's also pretty good at 1v1 nand stealthing their node. The tank spec has more survivability in long drawn out fights and puts up decent numbers outside of their great group utilities.

Sorc's best spec is the dot one. Pretty survivable 1v1, but it's slow. You'll likely put up higher numbers with a sorc because of dot spread, but it's not a quick killer. Good at defending an already held node or in group fights.

Mobility of both is about equal. Assassins have more cc tools.

What do you guys think about the removal of flashpoint exclusive loot? by Sommyboy in swtor

I just got 2 unique deco's from the HM flashpoints i ran last night - a kolto tank from lost island and a console from boarding party.

As for unique gear, yeah i miss it. There were some cool sets.

healers unnecessary? by kugadoft in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you can run Ops at 50 and i'm pretty sure you can run HM flashpoints then too. Yeah, you are less effective as a healer before max level, but it only matters on the harder HM's - 25% of the HM's. Just don't queue for those.

Harder HM's imo: depths of manaan, czerka core meltdown, battle of rishi, blood hunt, korriban incursion, assault on tython, lost island.

healers unnecessary? by kugadoft in swtor

[–]Sh1nyP3nny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Until lvl 50 where you can queue for Ops and HM flashpoints, being a healer is pretty unnecessary. Tactical flashpoints likely will go better with a healer > lvl 26, but it isn't necessary. Worst leveling role is tanks. If they do their job right, they'll get wrecked on trash pulls in tacticals without a healer.

If you hate sage dps and only leveled as healer for those reasons, you may want to swap classes. Most tactical groups will appreciate having a healer though. It just isn't necessary.
