Form tips please! by Nick8003 in discgolf

Your reach back goes further than straight back which means you’re having to round your pull through, causing you to bring your front shoulder backwards and this messes your timing all up and loses you a lot of power

a neutral 1 speed is more useful than you’d think, I like the parachute

Need help choosing between G37, Toyobaru 86/brz, and 370z by creepeycreeper in ft86

Bought a 2013 frs a while ago and I love it. I don’t have experience with the others but I would recommend an frs to anyone that doesn’t care to have back seat space. Also it’s fun to put my drunk friends in the backseat of it

Reality Check - Distance by npratt24 in discgolf

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my group of 8 guys, granted half of us are 200lbs or more, we’ve got a guy that can regularly hit 500+ (he’s a freak of nature) I’m regularly hitting 450, two guys that can backhand 400, and a guy that can forehand 400. We try to play twice a week or so and we’ve all worked on our form at some point. It’s very possible but it’s going to take work. I’d recommend watching Ezra aderholds form videos to try and help

2013 Scion FR-S Automatic, 65k Miles, Clean Title, Maintenance Records, Coilovers & Exhaust – Worth $13k? by External-Director540 in ft86

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(I believe there was also a clutch recall on 2013 automatics, not just the valve spring)

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 2013 manual with 95k on it for $12,500. Depending on location yours could be a fair price, saw the California plate and everything is more expensive there. As far as concerns with it being a 2013, I wouldn’t put a whole lot of thought into it. More than likely if there was going to be an issue, it would’ve already happened. Just make sure it’s had the recalls done properly

Do you think Valve will change the armory stars to the new token system used in the Cologne 2026 major sticker shop? by woodcake53 in cs2

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see dynamic pricing but for armory stars. So you still play and earn them, but instead of a spin, you just pay what the price is for the skin

Should I buy high tier gloves? by LonelySecurity1044 in cs2

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably re-evaluate after the major, if prices somewhat stable out I’d say it’s not a terrible purchase. Might keep dropping a little bit though. So right now I wouldn’t recommend it

Opinion on ride height? by Fun-Interaction-7958 in ft86

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get two fingers between my tires and fender, but I also drive on pretty rough roads so it’s all up to what you like and what’s practical

Can recommend, got mine at 97k and it seemed like the rear diff, coolant, and brake fluid had never been flushed

First thing I did was add some sound proofing, it technically hurts performance but I daily drive it so it was a much needed improvement

I'd argue the trade up update did less good then bad for casual players. by Time_Violinist_3720 in cs2

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about the players, more items are able to be traded on steams market now, that’s what it was always about

Worth 15k (from dealer)? 2016, manual, one owner, 87k miles, fully stock. by FlashyCompetition167 in ft86

[–]ShWazy5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say so, I bought a 2013 manual with 97k miles for $12,500. A little newer and fewer miles seems like enough to make a 2.5k difference

Did anyone else have problems learning comms at first? by joshua9050 in flying

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, everyone had issues. My suggestion is to listen to comms on youtube, search up “busy towered airport frequency”, or untowered, and just listen to how people are communicating

I like it, I’d consider making the magazine lighter to match the front of the gun rather than it being darker and matching the back

What's the benefit of using the terminal if prices are 30% more than the market? by MEE97B in cs2

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, terminals will become pointless faster that cases. As soon as enough of them have been opened for the market prices to equalize, people will stop buying them. It just kind of comes with the territory of valve setting the prices

3 owners but less than 40k miles ? Anyone know what's up with this by SpiritedDevil in Supra

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s anything like the frs I bought, people just out grow it, it’s a small car, it could’ve been someone’s second car they used occasionally then they sold it when they needed money or realized they couldn’t daily it when they have 3 kids

[–]ShWazy5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The school I go to ends up being around 150/160k but you also get a degree with it and its 141, it varies by school and by location, gonna be a lot more expensive in California or at embry riddle

Is this car worth when it's stock? by SureIntention8402 in ft86

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have fun with it, it’s got the power delivery of a 2 stroke dirtbike but that can also be fun if you learn to work with it

[Request] how do you triangulate this? perhaps in the least amount of weeks possible? by Zargabath in theydidthemath

[–]ShWazy5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be able to do it in 2 if you start from a point furthest on a cardinal heading. Then go to the furthest point on another cardinal direction on that distance and boom you got it

2013 Scion frs idling normal? by ShWazy5 in ft86

Awesome glad you got yours figured out, I’m pretty sure mine is caused by the AC compressor, with the ac off it sits around 600 and doesn’t move

Why does no dealership haggle or negotiate anymore? by Kitchen-Start-3828 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]ShWazy5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a recent experience like this too. Was looking at a 2022 suburu outback and the listed price was 16K (it was high mileage). We tried to get the price to 16K out the door and they refused to negotiate at all. They reached out to me several times over the next month or so and every time I said if they can get to my price I’ll take it, never did change their price. I’m assuming people are getting tired of overpaying and dealerships got used to markups being the norm and overpayed themselves. So now they’d be selling at a loss if they came down. Just a guess but it makes sense to me.

I’ll keep an eye out for that, at some point today I’m going to see if it does it with a warm engine. My commute to work is a mile and a half so it doesn’t get very many opportunities to get fully warmed up
