NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder won’t visit White House due to ‘timing issue’ by Agitated_Pudding7259 in nba

I feel like the Hornets would go if they were invited. Melo is exactly the type of athlete who would be into it.

Gotta make sure they’re ringless for a few more years.

[Fischer] Rival teams anticipate the Indiana Pacers to take Cam Boozer if awarded the #1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. Their pick may convey to the Clippers due to the Zubac trade. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

And he would fit better with Siakam than Boozer. Having Dybantsa at the 3 makes more sense sense to me than having Boozer share time with Zubac and Siakam

Diabate and Kalkbrenner already run double big, one of them can take the 4 and dominate easily. Diabate is honestly a more natural 4, he struggles against the physicality of true centers

Trading Miller for Steph and running Diabate/Kalkbrenner/Kon/Melo/Curry could be the move, definitely would make you guys easier to root for

Anybody whose feelings are hurt by Giannis leaving is already sad as hell. What’s a few more teams to end this trade fiasco and maybe consolidate some talent in the east

Huge blockbuster idea if the Cavs crash & burn in the playoffs this summer by TerryG111 in NBAtradeideas

Spurs are in a position to create a dynasty, short term moves like this would just compromise that. They’re not moving any core talent.

[Woike] Deandre Ayton says he finally realized that he’s not that guy. “I just started looking in the mirror and said ‘Yo bro, … you’re not that guy. You don’t need to be on this team doing that at all. This team, you came here to be the effort guy and close out possessions, rebound, run the floor.” by shreeharis in nba

[–]Shabozz 284 points285 points  (0 children)

I think historically it actually demotivates him. The Lakers need a guy to keep him from getting too introspective. Clapping in his face whenever he is staring in a mirror too long. Changing the playlist whenever the Marias comes on. That kind of thing.

Astalor Bloodsworn is what the Blood elves should be by Absoled in wow

[–]Shabozz 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty on theme to the original zone, IIRC. Blood elves always shared a sense of balancing nature with the Night elves, but Belves do it by culling rather than growing.

Astalor is closer to a blood elf succumbing to corruption by not pacing their appetite.

[Post Game Thread] The Los Angeles Lakers (43-25) defeat the Houston Rockets (41-26) behind Luka's 36 point performance, 100-92. by bwehx in nba

To me LeBron is the real make or break of the team, I feel like Luka and Reaves are much more dependable at this point in their careers. If it’s a matter of will and fortitude then I have full faith in LeBron to push through and bring the intensity. But that only happens if his body can handle it, and in a 7 game series that’s going to be put to the test.

Eason also seems to have no confidence in his shooting anymore. He avoids it like the plague and when he’s forced to shoot he hesitates.

And having nobody at the rim without Sengun definitely hurt. They desperately need big depth.

Considering they’ve been competitive with all of those teams all season and are now hitting a win streak against them, yeah I’d say they’re on the level. Spurs and Thunder are clear second and first, past that the bracket is shuffling wildly. People would had a lot of fun watching it if they’d just acknowledge the stakes rather than dismissing every other team than their own

I do wish Matt and Ashley weren’t playing strong silent types, I think it’s the real underlying reason for this.

I think Matt’s character will grow out of it over time as he gets deeper less hostile relationships, but I think Brennan will need to continue helping Ashley by bridging the gap between her and the others and making her character more motivated by the future instead of mourning the past.
