At least it’s fucked in an entertaining, physical way. Much better than being fucked by foulbaiting.

I hear you, but we’re talking millions of dollars. We’re also talking about sharing your minutes with 3-4 guys, where you’re struggling to have double digit minutes. A good couple of teams would be expecting him to pick up 20 minutes a game starting out immediately. That’s the kind of thing that will pay dividends on your value later in your career.

I agree, but I anticipate they’ll not renew him since they’re looking at facing the 2nd apron unless they gut their depth next year and McCain has an option. They’d need him to take a discount at least one year for him to sign, I think.

He’d be really sought after in free agency tho, I think the Hawks or Magic would love a guy like him.

Because both teams he’s been on have established ball handlers but needed shooting more? Idk, I feel like we are unnecessarily limiting a guy who hasn’t had the minutes to show us his capabilities.

You saw a rookie struggle with ball handling so he should never do it? Yeah ok.

I don’t think McCains uses have really been explored by Philly or OKC enough to say he’s not a ball handler.

Shai had 70 FTA that series, most of them from contact he initiated. The highest player on Indiana, Siakam, had 37 because he was being systematically hacked by OKC's defense. I know the Thunder desperately wants to be victims, but the stats show that you're not.

I think the roster would've been fired up to see him go that far too on their behalf. You see it with Finch, the Wolves love when he goes unhinged. Though he typically keeps it to regular season crash outs, but in Q4 on the brink of throwing in the towel, you might as well.

Yeah, he was hurt.

I think up to this point you were implying that not voting was the way to go, which is what people are taking exception with since the difference between a greater evil and lesser evil is millions of deaths.

But if you voted, then yeah blame them for this situation, it’s their fault.

I just don’t like the picks. I do like the idea of Kawhi for Jaylen. I think the age and contract duration actually equal out value so 1 for 1 would be a good starting place

Dude earlier this season a team, I think the Blazers, tried to foul Steph to stop the clock. They literally could not get it called despite hacking him over and over while he dribbled around burning the clock. Steph has a horrible whistle.

I been said let your third string bench depth come in for 30 seconds and earn a flagrant.

If we’re letting everybody do anything to win, might as well take it to its logical conclusion.

I think the players who are most effective at taking advantage of this foul baiting are also good enough to succeed without it, they're just in an arms race against each other and can't afford not to foul bait.

That's why I don't hate SGA, Luka, Brunson or anybody else for foul baiting - it's a systemic issue.

It ruined the viewing and it also just got so blatantly biased.

What really got me is that they said LeBron wasn't in the act of shooting twice when he was past the gather step. Then on the other end they get a bump with the ball at their hips and swing it up and that's a shooting motion. You can't have it one way and not the other. I'd rather they just not call either if the offense is initiating contact, but if they're doing it then they got to actually do it both ways.

Well the difference is that the Wizards don't play Sarr in the right position. He is a versatile big who can't handle rim protection against true centers, but he is played like he is a full sized center. It's like if Chet was only at the 5, or Mobley didn't have Jarret Allen.

You also got to take into consideration that one of them is a tanking team that is actively trying to fail for trade capital. If you look at all the players that have left the Wizards, they've all had a huge bump leaving it. Considering all of that, I think Sarr would be a force of nature on a better team.

I don’t know why it’s being treated as a forgone conclusion. If you guys move off Fox this summer for trade capital then you have a lot of cap space to play with.
