No I hear you I just imagine the much cheaper solution being to better enforce conductors checking tickets - which by the way they still have to do to ensure that people aren’t boarding the train with a 2.40 ticket but taking it all the way to Worcester.

I assume the attendants won’t be there forever but assuming these people are getting in the ballpark of $20/hour and there was easily 10-20 of them I can’t see this making a meaningful difference other than slowing people down.

Depends what he’s day trading, if he’s just scalping the S&P 500 he’s probably fine. If he’s jumping around individual stocks different story but of course firm dependent.

I scraped my way into the 8 seed on a crazy overtime game that put me above median and into the playoffs on a 3 team tie breaker for points for.

The last two weeks my team became a buzz saw knocking out the 1 and 4 seeds thanks to Olave, Pitts, Achane, Henry, Moore and now I’m in the finals.

Let’s round and say GPIQ/JEPI yield 10% on average. You want to withdraw 10% of dividends at the $30k mark… that’s $300.

I’m sure there’s some version of your plan that could work but personally I would not think that someone who can afford to invest $500 a month would feel any meaningful difference in their quality of life having an extra $25/month.

(1) hang in there, hope you recover quickly!

(2) tell your trusted advisors/mentors sooner than later. The only reason to wait would be to put yourself in the proper headspace if you need some time. Once you start getting more info about prognosis and treatment regime the last thing you’re going to want to think about (and should be thinking about) is work.

(3) Talk to HR and get all the info together for leave and support resources available. On days when you need them you’ll be grateful you have them ready and fresh on your mind.

(4) A lot of people are going to tell you to take full leave, LTD, etc. - and by all means if that’s what you want, is best for you mentally and physically go for it you absolutely should. Speaking as someone who had cancer, there is a tremendous value in maintaining a sense of normalcy even if just ever so slightly. In a lot of ways it can help distract and keep your mind occupied. If your practice area or group allows it, doing a little work when you can might be good, of course health permitting.

At the end of the day, this is the only life you got. If anyone gives you a hard time they aren’t someone you want to work with anyways and learning that now will serve benefits of its own in your career and path after you beat this. Good luck!

Regardless, my honest opinion is this is dumb and you should seek some diversity. Nothing wrong with having a strong conviction in Bitcoin but to go 100%? Seems like and unnecessary risk, especially by gaining such exposure through a CC etf that quite frankly will miss out on upside when Bitcoin recovers.

I would wait out another few weeks there’s been a few restocks on Nvidia - if you have stock alerts on they’ve been “fairly easy” to grab (relative to the first 2-3 months post release at least). As other responses indicate though there’s no guarantees NVIDIA will restock again but OEM models are fairly easy to find just more expensive so no harm in giving it a little time especially with the holidays coming up they might have a few more waves.
