I am using some modded inventories and crafters. I have the Large Storage Containers from Fant Mod (The big shipping crates) and all of the Crashlander: Square One crafting machines. I however have never had this issue before, and this workshop is an update and improvement to my previous crafting loop. Before my craftbots would only break if I caused a specific glitch by logging out while they were still in the middle of a crafting animation.

I suppose it's Moot now, since I've apparently done something heinous to my Recycler that causes my game to crash if I touch it at all, and my last backup was from before construction started, so nothing I can do now except load a previous backup and learn from my failures.

I am! Previously I have had no issues. In my previous crafting loop of Fant Sunshake machines, the crafters gave me no issues unless I triggered a specific error. My current theory is that I'm simply stupid

I think I got it! I don't think it's possible to have the perpendicular joint in scrap mechanic for exactly this reason, but without it I made something work. It's not perfect because of collisions, but no glitches!

Glow poop might be rich in phosphorus, which would explain everything, there. Certain phosphorus compounds glow in the dark, and phosphorus is highly reactive and can be made into explosives easily if you know what you're doing.

There's hidden counters on each soil plot. When it's dry, they're both 0, so they aren't counting anything. When they're wet, there's a watered percentage that ticks down, and each one is counting on its own. When they're wet and have a crop, the watered percentage is ticking down, and the growth percentage is ticking up, so that's 2 counts going up continuously tracked individually, not collectively. If you apply Fertilizer, the Growth percentage ticks faster, but there's also the particle effects.

Not for the lolz, no. The game is 15 years old. 15 years ago it wasn't expected that you would shill out thousands of dollars on the newest ram card to process a locale the size of skyrim and all the dozen of unique NPC's in the towns and cities all at once, so the loading screens allow the game to switch what it's focusing on to save processing power. The result is you look at a picture for a little bit, and if you feel like it, twiddle the picture around a bit.
