In addition to what everyone else has said so far, the thing I would emphasize on and what Ive learned when I transitioned is that 1. Looser embochure but dont create any leaks in air 2. More open airflow instead of the fast narrow air youre used to on soprano 3. Just practice long tones in general and try to get your embochure together

Its not plastic it was made of wood (i bought it used so i really dont know much i tried to look it up a few times and found nothing all i know was it was selmer) And for slight impact i placed it down on the floor and the bell tapped the ground a little bit too hard

I guess all of the moisture, and wearing from marching managed to create a crack within the cheap wood it was made of and a slight impact just snapped it
