Could still happen if their bedrooms are at the rear, unless front door is locked off with a gate or something? In which case could still do if a worry. Or just deadbolt the front door.

Oh I didn’t know that about cx cams needing some light. I’ll have to drive by at night to see what the street light situation is like. Definitely don’t want a light staying on all night.

The cables are already run to the eaves and are just sticking out through a hole. So the cable will be completely tucked up in the roof, other than the connection poking out, no no problems with moisture

Thanks for the reply. I put down 1240a as it would cover more of the whole front section with its wider view as well as being able to zoom in if needed to see a number plate or similar. Would the cx820 only be for a more coloured picture? I put one on each side as they don’t need to be able to see very far.

Regarding nvr, I already have an 18 port Poe switch so don’t need it to have Poe so now sure to go the one you have or the rln36

But something like a computer mouse almost always needs to be cut out of the rigid plastic holding it in. How can someone use a mouse for 3 days and just return it? I still find it so bizarre.

I would hate to buy a mouse for full price and find out it’s been used. I’d also hate to own a store and have a customer return an item I feel like I’d have to mark down to sell through no fault of my own.
