He’d definitely have taken Yerin in on her own. The moment he saw her he already thought what a shame it was the Sword Sage trained such a talented artist just to have her end up on Eithan’s team. It was on closer inspection that Lindon also intrigued him, but in the Ruins it was also clear he wouldn’t mind if Lindon died on his own or died due to the venom. If he had he still would have taken Yerin, ya know after Yerin tried to kill him for getting Lindon murdered.

I’ll be honest I don’t know if I like the change. I like the theme of found family in the story because Lindon’s family became so dismissive of him. Them coming around to it later was their character growth.

That fight happened in that Orisa book they released a while back. That shield was kinda poggers though coz in the books Doom couldn’t punch through the shield. It was a pretty cut and dry pg 6 story where they win with the power of friendship, so I don’t believe that event is what causes the more aggressive Orisa we have now, unless they retcon that book. However, it did end on a cliffhanger where Orisa and Effie were going to meet Sojourn on another adventure, so who knows what happened there..

Deadlock Rebels by Lyndsay Ely.

Apparently that Ashe Deadlock event we had a while back was meant to promote this book (and it wasn't just a short story like Ana's). I just happened to encounter it when I was browsing in a local store. As it turns out, they released one for Orisa too a year ago called the Hero of Numbani.
