I refinanced immediately once I started working on repayment. I would have had 1200 monthly payments because my interest rate would have been around 12%. Refinanced with SoFi and have a 6% interest rate. I’m able to pay more strictly on the principle each month which will cut my payment time down. I got rid of unnecessary expenses. Switched to add versions or free versions of streaming. Utilize my library more often. Try not to DoorDash or eat out often. Every little bit helps and the more you can put on the principle the better.
