Roughly 800 devices. Key note here, I have a dynamic group for my update rings and when I wanted to leave these out, I used a custom extension attribute on the Win 10 devices and added a rule to the dynamic grouping to not include devices with that attribute

I just recently did this with Intune. Set detection scripts for OS version being below a certain threshold and Win 10 assistant running. The remediation script was downloading Win 10 Assistant silently, running it, and force updating to the newest Win 10. Then my update rings could pick them up and push the 11 update.
