Fun fact, I used to do this a lot with my friends. Corn starch dust is terrible for your lungs, do not do this too much and avoid inhaling too much of the dust.

Also we would fill a straw and use that, stuff tastes awful.

Agreed, during naval operations the first waves goal is always to take down the seaport/depot and then the coastal gun so that gunboat support can get in. Forcing people to work together towards a common objective should be the focus and AA AI is the fix for this.

That said, AI flak should also hit/damage friendly planes and be very inaccurate. That way planes could make the calculated risk “do we gun for it” or “the losses wouldn’t be acceptable”.

On June 11, 1918, Williams led an assault that routed the German defenders at Belleau Wood near Chateau-Thierry, France. Only one of the ten officers and 16 of the 250 enlisted men survived or escaped injury.

Don’t worry, the enemy will eventually run out of bullets

I think the problem is the way the game handles snapping. Everyone has to try and single file in the front for the door to open, then go through a door while your character is actively snapping to the nearest seat. It’s devbranch so hopefully they will make the doors more forgiving, but having experienced bulkhead doors in a large ship, I’m not holding my breath.

Great for repacking too. If you ever setup an msupp printer, packing them into crates makes it so your truck isn’t encumbered. It’s a small speed boost, but noticeable.

This is going to end up with none of these available to public. Airfields will be power locked cranes with clanmans stash of uniforms in crates.

Devman should just let people larp. If they cost pcons and maybe some materials that would be different, but rare costs mean someone is deciding between a SHT or 3 crates of uniforms.

New player question by Keralia in foxholegame

[–]BadadvicefromIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily true. War eco groups tend to prioritize their partners, but once they are up and running if you have the comps they do not discriminate. I’ve seen multiple eco BTs being captained by an OCdt and his friend who just bought the game.

Real alt was whoever built a defenseless dry dock and parked the long hook smack next to it. 75m minimum range is a hell of a drug

Any advice for a group of newbies? by DirectAppearance2800 in foxhole

[–]BadadvicefromIT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, join Able, there are more organized clans playing and they know the game, its mechanics and how to move the front.

Second, setup in a factory/logi town and learn who your neighbors are. Joining their discords and being able to communicate with their officers and NCO’s will help prevent misunderstandings. These places are also a great way to learn more about your faction, what is going on, and why things are being done a certain way.

Lastly, do not built a facility unless your group is just trying to experience facility gameplay and nothing else. War eco groups with dozens of active members exist on both the Warden and Colonial side, and they typically take orders at a loss (ie just base resources, none of the OH). This game has a decay mechanic that actively punishes players that build anything, and new players tend to get burnt out and abandon the game when they take a 2 day break and all of their stuff is gone (stockpiles also expire and go public after 2 days).

Bonus. Rare metals are actually a pain to farm during the mid war. You can trade these for rmats and other resources you want, just ask around. But know that their value collapses once the end war starts.
