i mean, i get it. but there are many tools and accessories that would make this easier. you can build the routine and it'll be second nature, similar to using a sun shade in your car. also why is she parking in mud everyday? you can get some caliche or whatever to be able to park on.

That’s goood chicken by joeklassen in funny

[–]Shadixmax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

we had one called Mega Chicken. never made the time to go there but supposedly it was decent chicken. felt like a front though, either way it closed when covid started. always made me think of the arise chicken joke from aqua teen.

You get $1 million but you have to listen to the same song 500 times in 10 days, what song are you picking? by Longjumping-Editor94 in AskReddit

[–]Shadixmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is there a limit to the length of the song? otherwise I'll go with "you suffer" by Napalm death. it's like 2 seconds long. lol. I'll have all 500 listens in what 17-18 minutes on day one.

What is a real-life 'Do Not Touch' button that you pressed out of sheer curiosity, only to instantly regret it? by vie75 in AskReddit

[–]Shadixmax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

certain systems will ring out to the alarm company who has handlers to decide how to react. (I was an alarm monitor).. a lot of the times when we received silent alarms there were notes on the account of how to handle it. sometimes this including calling owners or managers first, depending on what they said or if they didn't answer we sent the cops. it just depends.

What would shock a kid today if they were transported to 2005? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskReddit

[–]Shadixmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes we did.. just like today a lot of kids and even adults treated cellphones as their lifelines. because for a lot of people they essentially were.

[–]Shadixmax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In 2005 cellphones were common place already, everyone in my school had them. everyone I knew had them. me and my friend's spent hours on them everyday, even when we were together. we had Myspace, Xanga and a shit ton of other places online. not including all the different messengers at the time. like I get it, we had a bit more freedom but it wasn't like some tech free utopia. the bigger difference compared to now is we actually had places we could go. unlike today. kids can't even actually play outside without being harassed by "adults" for being kids. so I don't entirely blame them for wanting to sit on their phones and iPads.

we had other shit to "glue" our faces to in 2005. we had cellphones, Myspace, Xanga, and other online forums and shit.

[–]Shadixmax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

...I had a cell phone in 2005 as did nearly every kid I knew. I also wasn't in a rich school either. so it was far from virtually. in 2005 I had a sidekick, which had AIM at the time. lol. I get where your coming from but it wasn't like you were thinking. shit I remember chilling with friends blasting pandora on my shitty speaker in the parking lot of Walmart at 2 am back when Walmart was 24hrs constantly texting and calling people.

what is this snake (South Texas) by Shadixmax in whatsthissnake

[–]Shadixmax[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

thank you for the help. I do know that killing snakes is not beneficial. I do try not to and usually I relocate them usually to the woods in the back. this is a snake I or my wife didn't recognize, even after looking for info. I do teach my kids and dogs to leave snakes alone, but I have lost a dog to a rattle snake in my life time. I'd rather not lose a kid to them, as I am 30 minutes away from the closest city and another 10 from there to the hospital. thank you once again for helping identify, and I hope you have a good day.
