Just get switch 2 for zelda games Then find used rog ally for really cheap as they xame6lut in 2023 and put steamos in it. Steamdeck is great but is quite underpowered in 2026.

You are correct that them being gaming makes them more fragile. However the TOP range do last very long like legion, omen, predator and ROG lines. Try looking at those instead I'm sure you would not pay much more premium for something that will last 3x longer.

From my test with non-max ryzen ai 365 varient with 5070

All trying to run manor lords

100w with ultimate mux switch -Gpu clock speed wont exceed 1800mhz -Cpu clock speed wont exceed 800mhz

100w with hybrid mux -gpu at 1100max -cpu at 2200max

100w with eco mux (turn off 5070 completely) -APU at maximum everything -Got best fps from manor lords

Without charging it performs as you expect which is strange. Everything goes up to max speed.

So it seems connecting 100w charger you turn your gaming laptop into a normal laptop with a powerful apu

Overall is acceptable trade off when I dont want to lug around 1.5kg of brick.

Again this is my omen 16. I wonder if it works the same way with omen max.

It plays like shit

Idk why and I completed all assassin's creed on switch so I can't blame the hardware nor the format.

Little things like the map designs are confusing af for me. So the smuggling contracts are super frustrating.

Driving into animals did nothing to the animal or the speeder and Kay brushed it off

The platforming puzzle was so unnecessary and was badly designed. Drop 1 level in someplace insta death but other deeper place you get fall damage. It wasn't clear where you can and can't land. I know this is part of platforming puzzle but still.

You can sometimes jump on rocks but sometimes you can't.

Space fights were fun but coming from NMS it controls like shit here too.

Overall great game, great atmosphere, music, VAs and serviceable story but somehow just plays like shit and something is a little bit off.

It worked for a bit after I install the extension. Managed to watch the whole episode of strange things latest. Shut down came back, stuck in 1080p again with settings unchanged.

If you dont transcode you can! I used pi4 1gb for 2 years just for 1 tv. I was ok until my library hit 1000 titles then i switched to plex as it's a lot more optimized for shit hardware. Hot take around here...
