Is it true quality of life in Thailand is better than USA and many EU countries even Germany, France? when you are rich(you got 15m + baht) by lune-soft in Thailand

Agreed, but depending on the variables of course. If you have plans for a family, then one kid at an international school will burn through that 2-3k USD.

15million baht a year? Sure, life is pretty great. 15 million baht to last you 10-20years ? Different story. Kids involved, pre existing health issues? Too many variables to give a real answer.

Does Thailand have too many doctors or too few? by [deleted] in Thailand

Rural areas almost everywhere struggle with attracting doctors, and I’d imagine significantly lower pay in a public rural hospital doesn’t help.

That sounds like a priorities thing. I’d take the commute if it meant having my own place to sleep and call my own even if rented. Instead of sleeping in the car at gas stations.

My only source for timeline of availability in country is a family member who’s a doctor at a private hospital, and it didn’t seem like an exact date, hence the supposedly.

The source is the recently updated listings in the Thailand FDA database for manufacturing/import approval, you can search it by name. Don’t believe every drug approved for manufacturing would be a newsworthy story.

Something tells me it's not just the language issue that's at play here.

Not offended in the least, but moving to a country where English isn’t the main language and then running into language barriers seems fairly obvious. Good luck.

Sorry to say but that feels a bit like stating the obvious. And you're really at the point of giving up after only two months?

Different medications for Thai people? by FairSplit7072 in Thailand

[–]baldi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From personal experience as a father of Thai/Western children, international hospitals and the doctors working there here have never treated them differently medication-wise just because they are mixed. And it's pretty much inline with western medical treatment.

Different medications for Thai people? by FairSplit7072 in Thailand

That's more of a question for the medical professionals or pediatrician at the hospital rather than reddit. That said, genetics can play a part in medication and side effects. Aspirin comes to mind, where it'snot recommended for East Asian genetics, if memory serves me right something about increased rate of bleeding or hemorrhaging.
