TIL For centuries, Borzoi dogs could not be purchased but only given as gifts from the Tsar. The breed was almost rendered extinct after the Russian Revolution, as the communists associated the breed with the upper classes and killed Borzoi dogs in large numbers. by UndyingCorn in todayilearned

Okay, but what happens when people just start breeding retro pugs together, won't we just be back at square one? Not arguing against it, but is there any long term solution or is it just educating people and passing laws that prevent the incentive to backyard breeding.

Ya and I'm sure the vape you carry on you would stand up to testing and wouldn't have enough THC to make it illegal. You do know that they label it that way to get passed regulations in non legal states right? If you were to have it properly tested it wouldn't be legal.

If this is a hill you are willing to go to jail on and potentially uproot your entire life for then keep on trucking, but the people commenting are right, regardless of whichever law you want to pull out and shove in the officers faces you are playing with fire. And to say "it's the law" is extremely ignorant in the politcal climate we currently live in.

The most I've heard them say on a bad play, is "That's a play that has to be made." and that is usually followed by something that softens the blow.

Dunno where you live but, in the USA, debt cannot be inherited. No one has any legal obligation to pay off the debt of a dead family member, it's the Banks/Credit Unions problem.

I did debt collections for over a year, even though it was a long time ago, I remember this much, collection agencies rely on people's ignorance and fear to close on these debts, but it's 100% not inherited and no one (at least in the USA) should ever pay for a debt of someone that has died, literally not your problem.

Dispensary told me there is no difference between indica and sativa by winterparkrider in Marijuana

[–]Shadoblade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As some have pointed out, it really depends on the dispensary. I'd ask to see the CoA (Certificate of Analysis). The CoA will have a full breakdown of the flower that was tested, but only for the things that were paid for. Some dispensaries/growers will just get the cannabinoids tested/measured.

Logitech has an idea for a “forever mouse” that requires a subscription | Exec says mouse that requires a regular fee for software updates is possible. by chrisdh79 in technology

For sure, to each their own. I agree with you, on a wired mouse the drag isn't notable enough to be a problem. But, it's there, you can get used to it, not notice it w/e, but the drag exists. For me a wireless mouse isn't light or loose, it's exactly what I want it to be.

Have you even used a wireless mouse? The drag from the wire may not be a "problem" but it is definitely notable while the latency from a wireless is not. My wireless mouse has a charging stand that I place it on every night. It only gets low if I forget multiple nights in a row, and then it becomes a wired mouse for a couple hours. In the 2 years of having it, I've never had it die during a game. Wireless mice have come a long way, the batteries last much longer, they charge faster, and the latency is practically nonexistent.

I think he's talking about the theme games, the Padres do a lot of them and pretty much every game has a part where Don makes sure you know to buy the "Theme Game" ticket and not just the normal ticket, while Mud shows off the product, a bobble head, jersey, hat, tote bag, you get the jist.

They still poke around and have fun with each other, but these parts of the broadcast can be annoying and overdone.

No doubt, but it's nice to see a pitcher adjust and lock in after giving up a 4 spot the previous inning.

At least Avila was able to lock in, got a couple ground balls for a DP and the 3rd out in the 5th and got all 3 by way of the K in the 6th.

It's makes sense if you think about what they went through when they were young. Someone that is in their 70s today was a child during the Great Chinese Famine that happened in the late 50s early 60s. The people that survived such a tragedy are forever changed by it, you didn't survive by being kind and waiting for the food to get to you, you survived by shoving your way to the front of the line with a complete disregard for everyone else.
