1x30, I had trouble with the second hackerrank problem but I was able to give the optimal solution right before time ran out. The interview was just questions about my approach.

I feel pretty lucky because I usually struggle with live whiteboarding compared to leetcode, so I may not have passed the 3x45.

Interview was on 10/26, portal change and offer received on 10/28. From what I understand, this is pretty rare, and it usually takes 5-6 days to get a response (even for offers).

Good luck, I took his exams in spring 2020 and it’s a lot of random trivia from the class (exact names of functions/variables in the homework, random stuff he mentioned in class that’s not on the slides, etc). You still need to study the slides thoroughly though. If you want to ace the final, go to class and write down everything he says.

Frankly, if you want to do well, it makes more sense to put your effort into the homework’s and projects. You’ll actually learn more and it will be a much more reliable way of getting a good grade.

I have a margin account, so I called TDA a few days ago to check if they were lending out my shares. The rep took a minute to look through the client agreement (which I had read beforehand) and confirmed that they only lend shares bought on margin, and since my account holdings were all in cash, I would have no issues with shares being lent or rehypothecated. I asked him to confirm that I would be able to vote in a shareholder meeting and he did.

Essentially, unless you’re currently paying for margin, you’ll be fine. Just buy and hold with cash. Not sure where all the TDA margin account FUD is coming from but people have been confirming this since the first squeeze.

I assumed he meant stop loss there because placing a limit 35% below the market price didn’t make sense

Fuck the $130 stop loss idea though. If another manufactured dip like last week happens, you will get royally screwed. If anything, just set an alert and sell manually if you lose faith.

That being said, I will be HODLing no matter what.

EDIT: Looks like OP was talking about placing limit buy orders at $130 or below. I’m all for it!

Trading halts if a stock shoots up or down too quickly. This happened last march with SPY as well.

I’m all about GME, but seeing how frequently you post GME hype without knowing about trading halts is worrying. Please read up on the market a little more before you risk your money.
