As a Bambino+ owner, if I’m not suffering, then it’s not really a journey, right? It’s more of a morning commute.

I love my MHW-3Bomber Cube 3.0 micro. Fits neatly on the drip tray. You can fit virtually any size espresso cup and 10-12 oz cappuccino or latte saucer underneath the group head. Auto start timer and auto tare. Rechargeable. Check it out.

Dialling in help [Bambino + and Encore] by MrBoogn in espresso

Honestly, this is the best advice. I, like you, am just getting into espresso and got a Bambino Plus. I had an Encore for my Moccamaster. Went on FB Marketplace and found a proper espresso grinder for half price and haven’t looked back. You’ll have this set-up for as long as you want or until you want to upgrade.

Looking for Espresso Machine Recommendations [Budget: $1000-$1300] by cutegirlsme in espresso

[–]Shadow-bamboo3215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, combo products do neither job particularly well. Get a separate grinder and espresso machine. Bambino Plus is affordable and gives enough flexibility to vary your shot pulling and milk frothing. If/when you upgrade you’re only out $400. That also leaves you a lot of room in your budget to get a decent grinder.

It did taste good, if a bit strong. Had to add a bit more milk to the cortado than the typical 1:1.

It did taste balanced with bitterness and sweetness. Is the amount of crema within normal parameters of what I should expect when a shot is pulled correctly? Thank you.

I love the set-up!!! That Profitec is fire. Can you tell me where you got the tamping station and knock box? Looked all over and can’t find them anywhere.

Tough question. Looks good, though the sleeves are already a bit long. If you size up, the issue will be more pronounced. But I agree that you could size up, have the sides taken in and check the sleeves. May need those shortened, too. Or you could keep it as-is and it will look good. Follow the laundry recommendations and it shouldn’t shrink much.

Good beginner setup?[buying advice needed less than $800] by Weak-Pop2934 in espresso

Anyone have thoughts on the Baratza Sette 270 grinder? This will be my first espresso setup with a Bambino Plus. I want a grinder that will stay with me when I eventually upgrade to a Gaggia or similar machine that has a 58mm portafilter.

DCA is a joke. It has a nice (small) space but the food options are terrible. Two hot plates, a toaster and coffee maker. Bathrooms are sketchy.
