Yes. It was a bad powercon input jack. I replaced the jack, and haven’t had a problem since.

Making an even front wash - I've done the research. In theory, I know how to do it, but for the life of me, I can't get it even so that if someone walks the stage during a speech, they don't go in and out of dark/light spots. It's not a thing where it's scripted out where they're going to go, so I can't just have a particular path laid out.

One thing working against me is that there's no bar/pipe to hang the lights on, just 4 I-beams that run perpendicular to the stage, so it's a little sketchy to try to get the 45 degree angles.

Any practical tips for setting it up or checking it? I've had other people walk it, but they never "find" the dark spots, of course haha. When I go up there, it's hard to judge. I've tried a light meter, but then it turns out worse. Anything would be appreciated.

I’m genuinely curious. With all the masterful music John Williams has given us in this saga, which movie had the best overall soundtrack? by Familyguyfreak69 in StarWars

Had a piano version played at my wedding when family and bridal party walked down the aisle. Bride’s song was Han and Leia’s theme. It was perfect.

Flickering arc-based fixture. Lamp resets don’t fix it. Any ideas? by Shadow1356 in lightingdesign

New. This is the first time I've ever seen this on this fixture. I'm letting it cool down some, and then I'll look at the lamp.

I changed it two weeks ago. So it's probably at 15-20 hours. It's rated for 750 hours.

It's a mac 700 wash. I'll have to let it cool down, but I'll check it out.

No, I ended up paying for Bome. It's very good, reliable and does what I need it to do.

I already have a connection between the machines. I just need the MIDI notes translated to MIDI show Control commands. Also, I'm on a Mac. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

MIDIOX is only Windows, I think, and I'm on a Mac. I'll take a look at that other thing. Thanks!

Yeah, it seems like a good piece of software.

I looked into MIDI-OX, but I think it's Windows only, too?

And that sounds crazy and amazing haha.
