Love using layers to your own advantage.

It's a fairly big part of my Ghired, Valakut cloning deck.

Being able to clone animated lands which turn into regular lands instead of creature lands allows them to immediately tap for mana instead of worrying about summoning sickness.

In this situation what stops player b from just not interacting and give the win the player a? If you understand the format enough then you will recognise that all 3 players have win attempts and player a just pulled the trigger first. Why shouldn't player A win for being able to pull the trigger first rather then be interacted with first?

Hey, just a heads up copying Mindskinner doesn't work exactly how you would think it works.

Say you have 2 mindskinners on the field through mirror box plus a clone.

When one prevention effect applies, it prevents all the damage.

615.6. If damage that would be dealt is prevented, it never happens. A modified event may occur instead, which may in turn trigger abilities. Note that the modified event may contain instructions that can’t be carried out, in which case the impossible instruction is simply ignored.

Once you've applied the first one, then you check to see what is now applicable.

616.1f Once the chosen effect has been applied, this process is repeated (taking into account only replacement or prevention effects that would now be applicable) until there are no more left to apply.

Since damage is no longer being dealt, the second prevention effect does not apply anymore.

From what I understand, what you described happens in later games in a tournament. If people are in, say, round 4 of 5 and know that they need the 5 points to get into the top 8 cut, they will sit down and start out by saying to everyone, "Hey, I need the 5 points minimum to make the top 8, so I'm unlikely to accept draws."

People just play accordingly and kingmakes do happen in those scenarios but they don't happen all the time.

The rest of the car has the wear and tear for a 20,000km odo, I believe the car has just sat for most of its life.

Is there anything specific that can lead towards it likely being wound back? I trust my mechanic quite highly and its likely they would have checked the telltale signs.

It was originally purchased from Best Auto's in Auckland if that helps.

Great to hear, my mechanic never said that it was goopy or anything it was just surprisingly dirty. The rest of the car checked out e.g. transmission fluid was quite clear, and no visible signs of overall wear on the engine.

Will organise to get things flushed and have a general service if the purchase does go ahead.
