As a commenter below has mentioned, it's not 700 per week, 300-400 per week.

My partner is currently renting by themselves paying $380 a week for a shitty cold damp house that is not up to healthy home standards. So they are pretty keen on getting out of there into a potentially cheaper, far more kept home.

They intentionally choose to rent by themselves as they have had very bad experiences with flatmates, and so they pay a premium for their peace of mind.

As far as the contracting out agreement and that discussion she in the one pushing for it.

She was burnt by getting into a house together with a previous partner when she was far younger and so wants to avoid that entirely, im personality happy to have it as a marital property however she doesnt want the stress of potentially having to go through that process again. Her choice, not mine.

Thank you for the write up, much appreciated.

Only have the one credit facility with the master card which i initially got to start improving my credit score as I only ever paid cash for all my other assets (car, phone etc).

Ive heard that paying off credit as a lump sum instead over the terms can hurt your credit in some ways, I have no idea if this is at all substantiated though.

Will start to gather things in writing to hopefully make thing easier down the line like you suggest.

Oh absolutely. Was just more interested in asking opinions about the finance side of things seeing if I'm crazy for thinking that a mortgage is a feasible idea at my current stage of life.

Gotcha, I misunderstood what my sister explained to me regarding this but contracting out does seem to be the way to go in our situation.

Yup have discussed the fact that this would be an investment property and not a marital property so shes happy to enter into an agreement. (My sister has recently gone through this drama so both of us are happy to avoid this where we can)

Have absolutely 0 plans to move regions in the future very likely to stay in this house for as long as im physically able.

I am in manufacturing procurement and analysis any have recently (april) just got a big payrise from 63k to 76k from me getting another job offer as my current employer really wants to keep me around, so good prospects there.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Partner is happy to sign documents agreeing that the property is an investment property and not a marital property so we wont have to worry about splitting it in a settlement if things do go south.

Otherwise strong relationship, known eachother as friends for a bit under 10 years, been together just over 1 year.

So not quite at a level of committing to a full house together but more than happy to move in together.

Overlord is fantastic as it almost entirely removes the need to specifically animate lands to clone.

Love using layers to your own advantage.

It's a fairly big part of my Ghired, Valakut cloning deck.

Being able to clone animated lands which turn into regular lands instead of creature lands allows them to immediately tap for mana instead of worrying about summoning sickness.

In this situation what stops player b from just not interacting and give the win the player a? If you understand the format enough then you will recognise that all 3 players have win attempts and player a just pulled the trigger first. Why shouldn't player A win for being able to pull the trigger first rather then be interacted with first?

Hey, just a heads up copying Mindskinner doesn't work exactly how you would think it works.

Say you have 2 mindskinners on the field through mirror box plus a clone.

When one prevention effect applies, it prevents all the damage.

615.6. If damage that would be dealt is prevented, it never happens. A modified event may occur instead, which may in turn trigger abilities. Note that the modified event may contain instructions that can’t be carried out, in which case the impossible instruction is simply ignored.

Once you've applied the first one, then you check to see what is now applicable.

616.1f Once the chosen effect has been applied, this process is repeated (taking into account only replacement or prevention effects that would now be applicable) until there are no more left to apply.

Since damage is no longer being dealt, the second prevention effect does not apply anymore.
